Rachael Lee is pictured riding her, 'Baillieu' on the CIC One Star cross country track. In sixth place after the dressage phase an unlucky stop and time penalties see them head in to the final outdoor jumping phase tomorrow in 21st place.

Mattea Davidson from Queensland rode her home bred, 'Fairbanks Elle' to post a clear cross country round in the CIC One Star competition and move from 10th after the dressage to sixth place heading in to the final jumping phase tomorrow,

NSW rider, Kerry Ann Steinhardt and 'Laprince' fifth after the dressage phase of the CIC One Star unfortunately slipped to 22nd place after a stop across country. "At the lower levels of competition" explains UK Course Designer, Mike Etherington-Smith, :" the emphasis is on education". Many of the One Star horses are having their first start at this level.

Eventing heroine, Megan Jones had a great day at the office today and is leading the CIC One star class riding the home bred, Kirby Park Irish Empress'. First after the dressage with 42.50, Megan added nothing further on cross country day. A great run across the CCI Three Star course aboard her own and Lauren Poulson's, Kirby Park Allofasudden' saw them move to provisional second place and less than a showjumping fence behind the overnight leader, Shane Rose with Taurus. This placing was subsequently changed overnight to third with Megan and Allofasudden given 2 .4 time penalties for a total post cross country score of 46.60.

Tania Harding and , 'Jirrima Yorkshire' produced a clear run across the CIC One Star cross country course to hold the third place gained after the dressage phase. . They head in to the final phase tomorrow with a score of 48.80.

Kerry French and her 'Monty Who' take the plunge in to the famous Olympic water complex at SIEC. With just time penalties to add, they head in to the final jumping phase tomorrow in 11th place.

With a clear cross country run, Bridget Crosato and 'Silenzio' lead the CIC Junior One Star competition in to the final jumping phase tomorrow.

Isabella Bowditch-McIntyre let her grasp slip just a little on the CIC Junior One Star lead by incurring four time penalties riding her 'Grandios'. They head in to the final phase less than three penalties behind the leader.

Jamie-Rose Torzillo's, 'Flash Az' is so well named. We last saw this talented young combination in the Junior Jumping classes at Sydney Royal and here they are just about winning the "jump of the day" as they work their way around the CIC Junior One Star cross country course.

Craig Barrett makes a beautiful jump aboard Keith and Juliet Osborne's, 'Sandhills Brillaire' during their CCI Three Star cross country run. Bred by Craig and Prue Barrett , the beautiful mare by the Salute stallion, Staccato out of a Grosvenor Thoroughbred mare added just cross country time penalties to head in to the final phase of the Sydney Three Day Event CCI Three Star in tenth place.

Tim Boland jumped a clear round aboard his beautiful, imported Hanoverian gelding, 'GV Billy Elliott', but the addition of 7.2 cross country time penalties saw them slip from second place after the dressage to sixth place heading in to the final phase. Tomorrow is an important day for all the Olympic hopefuls.

Jumping rather in the style of the great Milton, 'Pluto Mio' makes a copy book jump for Stuart Tinney during their CCI Three Star cross country run. John and Jane Pittard's Daley K gelding jumped a seemingly effortless clear to move up one place to fifth heading in to the all important jumping phase tomorrow.

Kiera Byrnes and her wonderful Thoroughbred, 'Fox Hill' jump off the new bank at fence 16ab. They posted a clear jumping run over Mike Ehterington-Smith's course, but time penalties see them in 14th place for the final jumping phase tomorrow.

Olympic Team hopefuls, Emma Mason and her typey Salute gelding, 'F1 Pharinelli' make a copy book jump off the new bank during their clear cross country run. With just 1.6 time penalties to add they hold fourth place heading in to the final phase of the CCI Three Star competition.

Young and promising NSW rider, Emma Scott and her Thoroughbred, 'Mustang' both look a picture of concentration on the CCI Three Star cross country course. They posted a clear jumping round and came home bang on the 10m 12 sec . Originally posted as being in third place after the cross country, overnight Emma and Mustang moved up a place to second when Megan Jones and Allofasudden dropped to third with the late addition of time penalties. Just 0.20 separates second and third, with Shane Rose and Taurus having just over one fence in hand heading in to the final jumping phase.

Sonja Johnson in classic style with Nikki Brooks' wonderful Thoroughbred, 'Parkiarrup Illicit Liaison'. Clear jumping and of course, clear time, the London hopefuls hold eighth place going in to the final phase.

Stephanie Bender and her lovely mare, 'L Li Lu 2' are pictured on the CIC Two Star cross country course. They jumped clear but added time penalties.

A busy Shane Rose, (when is he not?) is pictured aboard, 'Wisteria Lane' that added just 1.6 CIC Two Star cross country time penalties to hold second place heading in to the final jumping phase tomorrow. Shane went one better in the CCI Three Star holding his first place aboard Jonnie Walker's Kihikihi NZ winner, 'Taurus'. The Warmblood/ASH by Aries jumped clear and was another bang on time at 10m 12s, to hold their score at 40.60.

Kirsty Douglas jumped clear over the CIC Two Star course riding her 'Cushavon Crackerjack' and with the addition of 10 time penalties hold 14th place going in to the jumping phase tomorrow.

Fourth after the dressage phase, Robert Palm jumped his way to first place in the CIC Two Star aboard the impressive, 'Koko Black'. They head to an exciting final phase tomorrow, just 0.20 in front.

Katie Roots and 'Trevalgar II' jumped clear and with the addition of time penalties hold 11th place in the CIC two Star.

Sophie Adams is pictured riding the ex Tim Boland French import, 'Mercator du Ry' to hold fifth place in the CIC Two Star after the addition of just 0.4 time penalties on the cross country course.

Jessica Rae and 'Plenary Indulgence' are pictured on the CIC Two Star cross country course. They jumped clear, but added time penalties to hold 18th place heading in to the final phase.

Diane Gilder and 'Your Attorney' jumped clear around the CIC Two Star course with the addition of 10 time penalties to hold 16th place after cross country day.

Christine Bates is pictured aboard her CIC Two Star ride, 'Corambo' that jumped clear jumping and time to hold third place with 48.60. Christine also jumped clear, clear aboard her CCI Three Star horse, Adelaide Hill that holds seventh place heading in to an exciting final phase tomorrow. A trip to London is at stake tomorrow for the Three Star horses.
