Christopher Ware from Duri in nothern NSW is another young boy making a name for himself in the rider classes. He has claimed many CHampionships including today taking out the Champion Boy Rider Under 17 award coming from the 12-15 years class.

Paige Richards from Box Hill in NSW rode her Warmblood mare, by Biathlon out of Stirling Tootsie to take third place in the class for Novice Hacks Over 16.2hh.

Stephanie Barrington from Moorooduc in Victoria worked well with her 'Vader' to take sixth place in the Novice Hack over 16.2hh.

UK Hack judge, Tim Wiggett had a busy first day, judging all the Novice Hacks to Best Novice.

Stephanie Walker from Temora in NSW was second in the class for Novice Hacks 16-16.2hh riding her 'Hemingway'.

Sandra Henry had a great Novice Hack day. She won the 15.2-16hh Hack class riding her 'Nothin Leica' and the 16-16.2 class with 'Oblige'. The aged gelding by Al Jaasi went on to be declared Best Novice Hack.

Constable Danielle Culhana rode 'Echo' to claim the Most Successful Police Horse award.

Christopher Wyatt from Ourimbah in NSW won the class for Boy Riders 6 AU 9 Years.

Team of Four Police Horses SC Iona Kerr with 'Rommel',SC Jeremy Clarke riding 'Ritchie', C Robert Potts on 'Souvla Bay' and SC Jane Paroissien with 'Beaufort'. Its not all serious Police work.

Kim Vizer with her Champion Mare and Supreme Champion Shetland Pony Exhibit, 'Shady Glen Gloria' (Wells Rising Star/Shady Glen Gracious).

Ashleigh Jobe-Parker from Jilliby in NSW was second in the class for Girl Riders 6 and under 9 years.

Mrs Renee Fowler-Hay's 'Shine For You' measured down to take third place in the class for Novice Hacks 15-15.2hh.

AShley Gorton from Somerville in Victoria took second place in the class for Boy Riders 9-12 Years.

Sandra Henry from Numbaa in NSW got the Hack ring up and running. She won the Novice 15.2-16hh class with her five-year-old, 'Nothin Leica' by the well-known Nothinleica Dane, which trained by Gai Waterhouse won 1.7million. (Statistics thanks to Peter Heagney). Sadly his son out of Crystal Rose did not follow in his father's footsteps (or gallop strides). He had two starts for last and last, with a career in the showring as seen here, a much better option.

Thomas Madigan from Mackay in Queensland has adopted rather a "scorched earth" approch to his riding career around the country. He has won at Brisbane, Sydney Melbourne and Adelaide and HOTY shows. Here he is again with the blue ribbon for victory in the Boy Rider 9-12 Years. Not surprisingly Thomas went on to be declared Champion Boy Rider Under 12 Years.

Adam Oliver from Gilston in Queensland took second place in the Novice Hack 15.2-16hh class riding his own 'Shiek'.

Lily McEvoy from Strathmore in Victoria rode her very well performed pony, 'Mirinda Touch of Mink' to win the class for Girl Riders 9-12 Years.She went on to be declared Champion Girl Rider Under 12 Years.

Ric Jones with his own, Max Pearce and S Ray's winning Hackney Stallion / Colt over 14hh, 'Woodbeau Strauss' (Hurstwood Solarity/Pascoe Vale Mareza).

Brittannie Dalley from Muswellbrook in NSW work out in the class for Girl Riders 9-12 Years.

Julia McGrath from Bowral in NSW took second place in the class for Girl Riders 9-12 Years. She went on to be declared Reserve Champion Girl Rider Under 12 Years.

Led Hackney Judge, Peter Burgess from NSW gives the exhibits careful consideration.

Experienced and successful showing competitor, Mark Tarrant from Thirlmere in NSW won the Gent Rider over 40 Years class and went on to tbe declred Reserve Champoin Gebtleman Rider.

Andrew Stone from Queanbeyan won the Gent Rider 21-40 Years ans went on to be declared Champion Gentleman Rider.

Well-known and successful showing competitor, Mark Kenzig was second in the class for Gentleman Riders 21-40 Years. Later in the day Mark rode this horse, 'Cannason' by Quidong Chick to win the Novice Over 16.2hh Hack class.

Jamie Priestley from Nowra in NSW took sixth place in the class for Girl Riders 9-12 Years.

Lauren Dean from Kembla Grange in NSW rode her 'Bahrain' to take third place in the Novice Hack 15.2-16hh class.

Danielle Colvin from Arcadia in NSW rode her 'Headley Park Allure to take fifth place in the Novice Hack 15.2-16hh.

Callie James' beautiful 'Mayfly' by Medallion (imp) out of Stirling Scarlet, and bred by Heath Ryan, won the class for Novice Hacks 15-15.2hh.

Fiona Course from Ferntree Gully in Victoria was second in the class for Novice Hacks 15-15.2hh riding her 'Tudor Park Realm'.
