Victorian All Welsh 2009

Back in action after a gap year due to EI, well-known Welsh showing personality, Gary Le Brocq has lost none of his pace. Gary is pictured with Christina Taylor's winning 3yo and Reserve Champion Section A Colt, ' Nattai Kingston' (Nattai Calypso/Nattai Summersong).

Well-known Hunting and Welsh personality, Cheryl Bunting ran away with the Section A Colt Championship with her 2yo winner, 'Primrose Park Silver Snaffles' ( Weston Song and Dance Man/Cherrytree Sarah).

The Elargee Stud, with Chris Gray doing the honours won the Section A Yearling Colt class with ' Elargee Tobruk' (Brecon Bach Soldier Poppy imp/Elargee Tabaret).

Llanfairbryn Stud, breeders of ponies and people. Katie Turnbull (Dean) is pictured with 'Llanfairbryn Exquisite' (Coed Coch Bedwyn imp/Trentlyn Tarana) ridden by Alexander Turnbull). They had just come from the Welsh Leading Rein class.

Sandra Lackas did the running and Bailey Lackas the riding aboard, 'Llabfairbryn Corn Silk' (Glynyarra Park Doulton/Llanfairbryn Miss Brodrick) to be declared Reserve Champion Welsh Leading Rein/First Ridden.

Molly Chiller with S Cordell's 'Mithril Making Waves' (Owendale Brandyman/Mithril Winsome) winner of the Welsh Child's Pony 12-12.2hh and declared Champion Welsh Leading Rein/First Ridden.

Casey Arthur-Wise rode her 'Talsarn Old Silver' (Madorama Frolic/Criban Old Melody imp) to take second place in the Welsh First Ridden Child's Pony 12.2hh and Under, Rider Under 12 Years.

Vienna Smith rode her 'Oak Park Kashmir' (Tooravale Phantom/Imperial Jodell) to third place in the Welsh Children's Ridden Ponies 12-13hh.

Six Year old Georgia McDiarmid from Ruffy had a successful day out with her six year old, 'Talinga Park Cherish' (Acheron Hot Chocolate/Cardi Out To Lunch). Together, and at their first All Welsh Show, they won the Junior Handler 4-6 Years qualifying them both for the Nationals in March.

Adrian Slee is always quick across the ground and has the footwear to prove it. Adrian took second place in the 3yo Section A Filly class with the Slee Family's 'Ripplebrook Vision' (Imperial Maestro/Ripplebrook Quest).

Legendary Welsh exhibitor, Mark Bullen was at it again at the 2009 Victorian All Welsh Show. Mark won the Yearling Filly class, claimed the Section A Filly Championship and the Best Youngstock Welsh Mountain Pony Exhibit with his 'Imperial Cover Girl' (Imperial Lookout/Trentlyn Clouis).

Champion Open Leading Rein/First Ridden Pony, 'Wendamar Blush' (Wendamar Elliott/Wendamar Blush) with Michelle Labhan with the lead and Kaitlin Labhan-Meyland in the saddle.

Ashley Porter's 'Vanoca Park Picture' (Dalgangle Oscar/Nattai Puffin) was second in the class for 2yo Section A Ponies.

Caitlin Smith with her own and Di Aumann's Champion Junior Part Welsh Gelding, 'Pemberton Top Cat' (Langtree Midas/Penyghent Spring Melody).

'Bamborough Othello' (Eyarth Tigre/Imperial Juliet) winner of the Welsh Pony Yearling Colt class and Champion Welsh Pony Colt. Exhibited by the Bamborough Pony Stud.

It was certainly a D Day for the Howe Family. Due to EI both the 2008 and 2009 Futurity competitions were held and Megan Howe won both the D Filly classes and both Best Welsh Futurity Exhibit Awards. Megan is pictured with 2008 Best Exhibit, 'Nawarrah Park Ebony' (Llanarth Cardiff Arms imp/Narrawah Park Edina). Nawarrah Park Magica De Spell, also by Llanarth Cardiff Arms and out of Imperial Magdelyn.

Successful young rider, Patrick Moloney was at it again. Patrick won the Child's Pony 12-13hh and claimed the Champion Welsh Child's Pony award with the Moloney Family's 'Lykanarrow Rockafella' (Cheraton Cadan/Dalgangle Goldilocks).

Cath Roberts did the honours with the Prince Family Trust's winning Section C 2008 Futurity winner, 'Fleur de Lys Honey Jumble' (Fleur de Lys Jack Daniel/Wingana Hint of Honey).

Marnie Hicks won the Open Child's Pony over 14hh class and went on to take out the Open Child's Pony Championship with her 'Kirreway Exalted' (Rotherwood Acrobat/Tarago Park Nareen).

Troy Greenwood is on the move with Rosaleigh Burgess' 2008 Section A Filly Futurity winner, 'Tegwyn Tango Lily' (Weston Park Song and Dance Man/ Tegwyn Tiger Lily).

Janet Evans's Weston Park Mayflower' (Eyarth Sama/Weston Park Mary Rose) won the 3yo Welsh Filly class.

Amanda Diaco rode Stephanie Pinton's 'The Count of Tuscany' (Strinesdale Matador/Chippenham Celebrity) to win the Child's Ridden Pony 13-14hh.

The Howe Family's gleaming 'Narrawah Halle Berry' (Synod Aristocrat/Trapalanda Downs Hillary) won the 2009 Section C Filly Futurity.

The Tooravale Stud's 'Tooravale Celeste' (Weston Manhattan/Weston Park Candice) was second in the 2yo Welsh Pony Filly class.

Fern Wright in action in the Novice Working Hunter class aboard the Abbott-Wright Family's 'Kamber Pryderi' (Burrowa Sportsman's Last/Imperial Martha).

Molly Chiller and S Cordell's 'Bell's Mountain Lucifer'(Imperial Jerome/Lidster Lucy) show great form during the 30 strong Novice Working Hunter class conducted in the indoor arena at the Tatura Equestrian Park on the first day of the 25th Victorian All Welsh Show.
