Victorian All Welsh 2009

Simon Harris of Callow Rock Stud is on the move with his 'Lemonshill Firebird imp' (Ernford Bellboy/Lemonshill Firecrest) winner of the Welsh Pony Stallion 8 years and over and Champion Welsh Pony Stallion.

Kristen Carsen's Tooravale Picasso' (Weston Manhattan/Weston Park Penelope) won the Welsh Stallion 4-8 years class and went on to be declared Reserve Champion Welsh Pony Stallion.

Mark Brown always gives a spectacular show, win, loose or draw. However, at the All Welsh this year Mark had plenty to dash about. He took out the Open Section D Broodmare class, was declared Champion D Mare and went on to take out the Supreme Welsh D award with his, 'Indi Zeta-Jones' (Rivington Heritage/Wingana Amanda Jones).

The Howe Family had a super show. Megan Howe is pictured with the imported, 'Trapalanda Downs Imagene' (Trapalanda Dai Wynne/Hazelmere Tarantella) winner of the Dry Section D Mare 4 Years and Over and Reserve Champion Section D (Cob) Mare.

Cheryl Bunting with yet another typey foal. Her 'Primrose Park Smart Sox' (Bookra Legal Edition/Cherrytree Sarah) won the Section C (Cob Type) Foal class.

Lil Cooke's beautiful stallion, 'Llanfairbryn Desert Fox' (Imperial Cyrus/Llanfairbryn Foxtrot) is typical of the beautiful Welsh Mountain Ponies on show at the 25th Victorian All Welsh Show.

Ashley Porter was thrilled to take out the Welsh Mountain Pony Stallion Championship (Section A) with his 'Dalgangle Griffin' (Dalgangle Lady's Man/Dalgangle Thyme).

The Gatehouse family brought their successful Welsh Mountain Pony Stallion, 'Barn Hill Fletcher' (Owendale Bart/Imperial Francis) on tour from Queensland. The typey pony was second in the 8 Years and Over Stallion class.

George Howe is pictured with the Howe Family's Welsh Pony Gelding, 'Weston Park Vivaldi' (Eyarth Sama Weston Park Vogue). The typey pony won the Welsh Pony Gelding 4 Years and Over class, went on to take out the Led Gelding Championship and at the end of a busy day claimed the Supreme Gelding Award.

Wendy Parson's beautiful, 'Barakee Brocade' (Nattai Gwydion/Nattai Medwen) was shown by Teresa Townsend to win the Novice Welsh Mountain Pony Broodmare class.

Teagan Lewis rode Joanne Raper's 'Penryn Silver Spruce' (Imperial Spruce/Penryn Fickle Lass) to third place in the Ridden Welsh Mountain Pony Stallion/Colt class.

Anne Cochrane's big moving, 'Wyann Hokey Pokey' I(Wyann Robin Hood/Wyann Pocohontas) won the Ridden Welsh Mountain Pony Stallion/Colt class and was declared Reserve Champion Ridden Welsh Stallion/Colt.

Kristen White rode Chris Symmons' 'Langtree Wild Vision' (Langtree Valentine/Langtree Wild Flower) to claim the Best Ridden Part Welsh Stallion award.

Margaret Catto's 'Fleur de Lys Hamish' (Barnon Imperial Jack/Wingana Hint of Honey) won the Ridden Welsh C Stallion (Cob type) class.

Miranda Bourke won the class for Part Welsh Mare, Filly, Gelding 12-12.2hh with her 'Langtree Ladybird' (Langtree Valentine/Langtree Love Tilt).

A very well performed young rider, Grace Hill claimed the Champion Ridden Part Welsh NE 12.2hh award with Elizabeth Greshner's, 'Beau Parc Sebastian' (Fairlight Acres Windshine/Nattai Airel).

Xavier Groves made a charming combination with Sally Bayles' 'Nilton Minerva' (Nattai Gerallt/Nilton Pele). Together they claimed the Ridden Welsh Mountain Pony Mare/Filly class.

Laura Heffer rode Vicki Maurice-Smith's 'Oak Park Kashmir' (Tooravale Phantom/Imperial Jadell) to win the Ridden Welsh Pony Mare/Filly class and go on to claim the Reserve Ridden Welsh Mare/Filly Championship.

Helen Underwood won the the Led Part Welsh 12.2-13.2hh mare with her 'Malibu Park Promises' (Sufton Romany Lore/Malibu Park Secrets. They are pictured working out in their ridden class.

Raquel Schaeffer rode Trevor Brand's 'Yarrandale Ankie' (Rosnaree Cascade/Yarrandale Daffodil) to win the Ridden Section C Mare/Filly class.

Mariece Paine rode her wonderful, 'Pen-Nant Gallant Bess' (Durrnat Gentleman Jack/Eileen Donan Dancer) to the Ridden Welsh Mare/Filly Championship and on to claim the Supreme Ridden Welsh Award.

Caitlin Smith rode her own and Di Aumann's 'Pemberton Top Cat' (Langtree Midas/Penyghent Spring Melody) to win the Champion Ridden Part Welsh 12.2-13.2hh. Yesterday the charming three year-old pony took out the Champion Junior Part Welsh Championship.

Kirsten Esler rode the Lanfairbryn Stud's charming 'Lanfairbryn Exquisite' ( Coed Coch Bedwyn imp/Trentlyn Tarina) to win the Ridden Welsh Mountain Pony Gelding class.

Daniel Harvey's 'Weston Park Tweed' (Weston Paladin/Weston Treasure) won the class for Welsh Mountain Pony Stallions 4 Years and Under 8 Years and was declared Reserve Champion WMP Stallion.

Lucy Hocking's 'Bamborough Montage' (Boston Bittermint/Imperial Juliet) was second in the Ridden Section B Gelding class and went on to be declared Reserve Champion Ridden Welsh Gelding.

The Moloney Family's super, 'Lykanarrow Rockafella,' ridden as always by Patrick Moloney won the Ridden Welsh Pony Gelding class and went on to be declared Champion Ridden Welsh Gelding.

Sarah Maley and 'Nattai Harlequin' adopted a Spanish theme to take fourth place the competitive Fancy Dress class for Riders Under 18 Years.

The Wizard of Oz easily won the Fancy Dress 18 Years and Over. L-R 'Kawanna Park Pop Song' The Lion, James Boulton, The Scarecrow, Renae Cooke, Dorothy, Jade Worthington, Tin Man and Teagan Chester, The Witch.

Samantha Rennie claimed the Supreme Ridden Part Welsh award with her, 'Mirinda Comic Opera' (Keston Royal Occasion imp/Lady Malia). Samantha is pictured with judges, L-R Juanita Carr (yes, she's back) and Debbie Taylor-Thies.

Norm Clark is pictured with his Champion Ridden Welsh Stallion, the good working, Section D, 'Barnon Imperial Jack' (Llanarth Jack Flash imp/Rhydias Romona imp).

Joanne Raper's Welsh Mountain Pony, Foal, 'Ripple Brook Arial' (Weston Park Song and Dance Man/Ripple Brook Liberty) was declared Best Foal. .Emily Pearn is doing a great job showing the beautiful and good moving youngster.

Jeffrey Marks had mixed fortunes showing the Howe Family's well named 'Nawarrah Park Go Go Girl' (Llanarth Cardiff Arms imp/Annan Gwennan). Never the less the Welsh Cob (D) Filly was declared Best Youngstock.

The Supreme Awards were rescheduled to the outdoor arena on Saturday evening. Mark Bullen made the most of the extra space with his Champion Welsh Pony Junior Filly, 'Imperial Jesselynn' (Eyarth Tigre imp/Imperial Jessika).that was declared Supreme Welsh B.
