This last fence, #30 The Qantas Welcome Home will be a welcome sight to the CCI Four Star riders. And that sight will come a little sooner, as this fence is to be moved roughly 200 meters further back in to the course, in order to have the finish line closer to the horse cooling down area due to the expected hot weather.

Megan Jones had hoped to start 'Kirby Park Allofasudden' in the CCI Four Star competition, but due to the trip back from the UK and quarantine restrictions, the closest she came was the Test Ride before the start of the CCI Four Star Dressage phase.

Craig Barrett, surprisingly in his first CCI Four Star competition is making up for lost time and has two rides. Craig opened the competition riding, 'Sandhills Brillaire', a horse he bred and is now owned by Mr and Mrs Keith Osborne. The gelding by Staccato finished with a score of 51.00.

Crystal Conning is making her Adelaide Four Star debut riding her super little former racehorse, 'Marcus Aurelius'. After the dressage phase they hold eighth place with 61.20 penalties.

Stuart Tinney holds third place with 49.80 after the dressage phase of the CCI Four Star competition riding John and Jane Pittard's 2012 NSW CIC Three Star Champion, 'Pluto Mio'.

Keira Byrnes is pictured during the Four Star dressage phase riding her wonderful 17 year old Thoroughbred, 'Fox Hill' that holds 13th place going in to the all important cross country tomorrow.

Natalie Blundell leaves the dressage arena after her CCI Four Star test riding Julia McLean. super little Thoroughbred, 'Algebra'. The gelding by Azzam was fourth last year and holds provisional sixth place after the dressage today with 54.20.

Shane Rose powers across the arena today riding the Leder's, Jamie McDonald and Lee Hokianga's APH Moritz. By APH Coriolo out of a Rocadero mare, the fit looking ,Moritz claimed provisional first place after the CCI Four Star dressage with 45.80. Shane also leads the CCI Two Star field riding the Wischer family's German import, 'CP Qualified' by Quite Capitol with 39.80..

South Australian Young Rider, Andrew Cooper, is pictured aboard his Hanoverian ,'Guest Of Honour' by Gymnastiik Star during the dressage phase of the HSBC CCI Four Star. They are in provisional tenth place with 62.00.

Well performed Young Rider, Tegan Lush from Woodanilling in WA has stepped up to the big time and is starting in her first Adelaide HSBC CCI Four Star competition riding her Thorougbred, 'Tempis Fugit'. They are pictured during the dressage phase.

Well known Victorian eventer, Murray Lamperd holds provisional fourth place with 50.70 after the dressage phase riding Jae Wishart's typey Thoroughbred, 'Under The Clocks'.

Jessica Manson is another successful rider from WA. (Milledon). Jessica trains with Sonja Johnson and is pictured riding the Stock Horse cross, 'Ringwould Legality' in the dressage phase of the CCI Four Star.

A handsome John Twomey is pictured after the CCI Four Star dressage. John is riding his own and Caroline Hooper's talented and New Zealand bred Brilliant Invader gelding, 'Highly Recommended' that is out of a Distilfink mare. John will be happier still when the jumping begins.

Victorian Robert Palm is pictured during the CCI Four Star Dressage phase riding Cassie Lowe's lovely , 'Koko Black'. They hold provisional equal eighth place with 61.20.
