Craig Barrett led the way literally in the HSBC Four Star competition riding the super Staccato mare, 'Sandhills Brillaire'. Craig produced one of just two Four Star clear rounds and moved in to first place with the addition of just 0.8 time penalties. Sadly Craig retired the dressage day leader, 'Wendela Jamie'. "The horse's welfare is the most important factor" commented Craig later in the day.
Natalie Blundell and the wonderful Thoroughbred, "Algebra' make the big leap in to the HSBC Rymill Lake Water. They jumped clear and added just 5.6 time penalties around the tough Four Star track. They moved in to second place and will push Craig all the way tomorrow.
