George Sanna made an impressive World Cup debut performance, (the horse that is) riding the CP Sporthorses' impressive and talented Heartbreaker mare, 'CP Aprilla'. Again George gave a beautiful riding demonstration to jump one and five for sixth place in the Qualifier.
Tim Clarke jumped four and five riding the young mare, 'Caltango' to be just out of the placings with a total of nine penalties. Although not confirmed, it is thought that this was Caltango's first World Cup Qualifier, and it was an impressive debut.
If we are talking of impressive debut performances, none was more so that Julia Hargreaves super Indoctro gelding, 'Vedor'. They did not lower a fence, understandable from this photo, but two time penalties from each round saw them finish the World Cup Qualifier in fifth place.

Cathy Graham from Queensland jumped nothing short of two sensational clear rounds riding her hugely talented, 'Da Vinci's Pride. Cathy had to outrun a fast Brook Dobbin and Advisor and, last out they did just that by two seconds.
Jackie Cox's super mare 'ASB Colthaga' jumped a prefect fence for Jamie Kermond during the World Cup Qualifier. They jumped four and clear to take fourth place in the Qualifier.
Former Adelaide World Cup winners, Clem Smith and Dark Ages' had to be content with eighth place this year. The Neville and Lyn Rose bred performance Thoroughbred jumped four and four.
