Fifteen year old Tess Hughes from Mt Gambier had a sensational day with her hack 'LA Chicago'. Tess won the class for Novice Hack Over 16.2hh, claimed the Anne Bailey Prize for Best Novice Hack and went on to win the strong class for Open Hack Over 16.2hh.

Melissa Karutz from Virginia in South Australia won the class for Novice Hack 16-16.2hh with her Byalee Millions. The Warmblood by Richmeed Medallion out of Splendid Jazzarena was later in the day declared Champion Led Warmblood Gelding.
