Successful Eventing rider, John Thomson, representing South East Queensland Zone 2, jumped two stylish clear rounds riding his 'Captain Nemo' in the Pony Club Jumping class first up this morning.

Rikki Jamieson and 'Regee,' representing the Southport Pony and Hack Club, jumped clear in the first round of the Pony Club Jumping Competition.

Jenny Anderson representing Dayboro Pony Club ride her 'Foxhill Freedom' to second place in the Pony Club Jumping Competition.

Alicia Seery rode her 'Big Red' for the Gravesend Pony Club to take fifth place in the Pony Club Jumping Competition.

Emma Kearney representing NSW Zone 15 took third place in the Pony Club Jumping Competition riding her, 'Triple The Bank'.

Ashley King and 'Harry' representing NSW Zone 15 took fourth place in the Pony Club Jumping competition.

Successful Junior rider, Tegan Kidner rode her super, 'Ace Ventura' for Edmonton Pony Club to out pace the competition and win the Pony Club Jumping Competition first up this morning.

Neva Craig claimed the Champion Quarter Horse Gelding Award with her 'Rightchester X Preference' (Crossing Over/ Compact Zinnia).

Lee Taylor was delighted to take out the Best Pinto Gelding Award with her, 'Why Not Mr Walker' (Garth Brooks/That Certain Style).

Kym Johnson's typey, 'Just Zippin' (Just Shameless USA/Miss Zippin Around) won the Led Paint Gelding Two Years and Over and took second place in the class for Pinto Gelding Over 14hh.

Well known and successful Quarter Horse exhibitor, Lorelei Payne is pictured on the move with her typey, winning Three Year Old Quarter Horse Colt, 'Honey I'm Not' (HF Somethin Hot/Reign Valley Honey).

Karen Nicoll had another sensational show with her own and Kay Bryan's, 'Springvale Blueprint'. Pictured during their winning ASHLA ride, the lovely grey by Creswood Rivoli All Talk out of Glenrae Minyette, was earlier declared Champion Australian Stock Horse Gelding and went on to take out the Australian Stock Horse Hack class.

Chris Sewell's Champion Quarter Horse Colt, 'Hypnotize' (EBG Speciality/Hippy Hippy Shake) was fascinated by the proceedings on the EKKA main arena.

The Riverdowns Appaloosa Stud's impressive, 'Dream'n Tonight' (Mega Dream/WJ Not Tonight Dier) was declared Champion Appaloosa Stallion.

Judy Evenson rode Suellen Brook's 'Karizmah Putton'On The Ritz' to win the class for Palomino Under Saddle.

Kym Charlton rode her charming and very kind going, 'Wordsmith' to third place in the class for Pinto Under Saddle. Apparenntly, Wordsmith is half Thoroughbred, a quarter Clydesdale and out of, "a coloured farm girl with childbearing hips".

Jennifer Cini rode her 'Wings of Cagney' to win the class for Pinto Under Saddle.

Claudia Grieves rode the Redland Stable's Victorian bred, 'Stanton Park Soda Pop,' to take out the Ascot Dental class for Buckskin Under Saddle.

Allan Wallen again put on a superb display to win the Working Gelding class and take out the Australian Stock Horse Working Championship, riding his 'Sevenangle Horatio'. Interestingly, Horatio is by the winning Working Stallion, Kirkby's Stud Omaha.

Peter Hiscocks took out the Australian Stock Horse Working Mare class with his athletic, 'Edgewater Stella'.

Ian Atthow executes a quick and athletic turn aboard his winning Working Australian Stock Horse Stallion, 'Kirkby's Stud Omaha'.

Successful young rider, Christopher Ware from Duri in NSW took second place in the strong Working Gelding class riding the Ware Family's really typey, 'Wungum Citizen'.
