2013 Sydney Royal Easter Show

Seven Year old Mitchell Smith from Wallacia in NSW rode his wonderful 25 year old pony to win the class for Boy Rider 6-9 Years.

Whilst mum and dad were contesting the Hack Championship,Daizi Plumb won the 9AU 12 Years Girl Rider class and went on to claim the Marj Holloway Trophy for Champion Junior Girl Rider. We think this puts Daizi up on the family ribbon tally.

Tess O'Connor from Seaforth in NSW won the class for Novice Girl Rider 12-17 Years. Tess went on to take second place in the class for Open Girl Rider 12-15 Years.

Indya Povey had a busy day with her Child's Hack winner, 'Lynham Park Jimmy Choo'. She won the class for Girl Rider 15-17 Years and went on to take out the DL O'Connor Perpetual Trophy for Champion Senior Girl Rider.

Tahlia Wells from Young in NSW was second in the class for Girl Riders 15-17 Years and went on to take out the Senior Girl Rider Reserve Championship.

Jemma Heran from Guanaba in Queensland rode her 'Black Tie' to take fifth place in the strong class for Girl Rider 15-17 Years.

Dylan Smith from Wallacia in NSW made it a happy family outing when he won the class for Boy Rider 9-12 Years and went on to take out the General Cariappa Perpetual Trophy for Champion Junior Boy Rider.

Suzy Willis jumped a good steady clear round in the Young Rider Table C this morning riding the ex Julia Hargreaves horse, 'Copabella Hayman'

Successful Kiara McEvoy from Jamberoo in NSW is pictured during the class for Girl Riders12-15 years.

Brynn Clarke from Bensville in NSW rode well to win the class for Girl Rider 12 - 15 Years.

Emily Myers all the way from Bundaberg in Queensland took third place in the class for Girl Rider 12-15 Years.

Bronte Dagg from Hinton in NSW has had a busy show and today she won the class for Novice Girl Rider 6-12 Years.

Phoebe O;Connell from Berrima in NSW took sixth place in the class for Novice Girl Rider 6-12 Years.

Josephine Indrizzi from Serpentine in WA went all the way from Novice 12-12.2hh victory to claim the Molly Higgins Trophy for Champion Small Pony riding her lovely, 'Yartarla Park Show Piece' (Beckworth Rising Shadow/Beckworth Royal Splash).

Earlier in the day , Riley Kent was declared Champion Senior Boy Rider claiming the Phillip Charley Perpetual Trophy. Riley is pictured during the Small Pony Championship riding the GC Equestrian and Jordan McDowall nomination, 'Rothwell Song Sung Blue' that won the class for Child's Pony N.E.12.2hh.

Zoe Murray rode Phoebe Sutton-Kouros' delightful,11.2-12hh winner, 'Radford Lodge Sweet Dreams' to take out the Small Pony Reserve Championship.

Gracie Goodyer riding Jane Nelson and Richard Hughes' 'Denhue Royal Design' was second to the Champion in the 12-12.2hh class and is pictured during the Champion Small Pony workout.

Julie Crisp won the Open 13.2-14hh Open Pony class with her well performed and very good working, 'Holly's Work of Art' (Fernleigh Fine Print/Gemstone) and went on to claim the AR Poolman Perpetual Trophy for Champion Large Pony.

Marcia Beard is pictured aboard her Best Novice Pony and Open 12.2-13hh winner, 'Rhyl Minuet' during the Large Pony Championship workout.

Martha Ulm made the most of her last Sydney appearance aboard the very well performed, 'Kolbeach Chanting'. Her own and Penelope Cobbold's Child's 12.2-14hh winner worked a treat and was declared Reserve Champion Large Pony.

It was yet another Championship appearance for the Hayes and Bragg nomination, 'Kolbeach Promise'. Lynda Hayes has been with the successful pony for almost all of her eleven years and Promise has been successful in the show ring for as long. The 13-13.2hh winner is pictured during the Large Pony Championship workout.

Dale Plumb rode Ashley and Tyler Harris' well performed six year old, 'Daisy Parch Choir Boy' to win the class for Open Heavyweight Galloway 14.2-15hh and are pictured during the Championship workout.

Terrie Lamey rode her own and Leah Walsh's beautiful 2012 Champion Galloway, 'Wizardry' to win the Open Lightweight 14-14.2hh and go on to take out the 2013 Galloway Reserve Championship

Joh Bailey is pictured aboard his own and Michael Christie's Canberra Royal Best Novice Galloway and Sydney Royal Heavyweight 14-14.2hh winner, 'Colbeach Contata' during the Championship Workout.

Nici Jamieson produced a lovely workout aboard her Lady's Galloway winner, 'Rathowen Envy' during the Sydney Championship workout.

Jason James produced a polished workout riding Sally Shaw's super successful, Lightweight 14.2-15hh winner, 'Royalwood Concerto' (Royalwood Boy Soprano/Knowing) to take out the Geoff Whidden Memorial Perpetual trophy for the 2013 Galloway Championship.

Michael Christie is pictured aboard the Bailey, Christie and Cullen nomination, Best Novice Galloway and Gent's Galloway winner, 'Royalwood Opening Night' during the Galloway Championship ride off.

Alex Berwick is pictured aboard her own and Sarah McMaster's Open Over 16.2hh and Pope Cup winner, 'Xlerate' that added the Reserve Champion Hack title to his Sydney Royal haul.

Adam Oliver took out back to back Sydney Royal Hack Championships and with it the Mackay Memorial Perpetual Cup riding his own, Janice Elliott and GC Equestrian's, 'High Fashion'.

Heidi Pickstock is pictured during the Hack Championship workout riding Dale Plumb's former Sydney Champion, 'DP Amazing'. The beautiful Thoroughbred horse was second in the 16-16.2hh class and the Pope Cup and won the Lady's Hack class.
