Soaked to the bone, but happy. The Zone 5 Team comprising, Jayme-Lee Averillo,Kate Cruickshank, Sophie Maynes and Olivia Sylvester claimed the Jenko Perpetual Cup for the winning Pony Club Team,Riders Under 13 Years on the very wet last morning of the 2013 Sydney Royal Easter Show.
The Area 7 Team from Scone looked the part and worked a treat to claim the David John Whitford Perpetual Trophy for the winning Pony Club Team for Riders 13-17 Years. The Team consisted of, Victoria Wicks, Anna Wilson, Victoria Wilson and Rachel Pittman.
Area 23 from Terry Hills, comprising, Tess O'Connor, Lucy Dodd, Phoebe Sviderskas and Alexandra Frost took second place in the class for Pony Club Teams, Riders 13-17 Years.
The Area 26 Team consisting of, Georgie Batten, Erin Bray,Maddison Hawkins and Ebony Ramm took fifth place in the class for Pony Club Flat Teams, Riders 13-17 years.
The Area 5 Pony Club Team of Katrina Osborne, Lucy Herbert,Caitlyn Vaughan and Samuel Collett took fourth place in the class for Pony Club Flat Teams 13-17 years.
The Area 10 Team from Mt Murray via Robertson consisting of, Rhiannon Exton, Mikayla Everingham,Sophie Driver and Brooke Wilkins took third place in the class for Pony Club Flat teams 13-17 years.
An energetic, Anthony Mountney led Bronwyn Stoner's, 'Baringa Hallmark' (Janevelyn Madras/Baringa Amazing Grace) to be declared Champion Stallion/Colt and Supreme Champion Led Buckskin Exhibit. The handsome combination went on to also take out the Reserve Champion Part Welsh Stallion/Colt award.
Lori Howell led the lovely Moore and Howell nomination, 'Joemoor Special Girl' (Joemoor Splendour/Bramasky Golder Mist) to be declared Champion Buckskin Mare/Filly.
A gear malfunction resulted in this Buckskin exhibit putting on a 'Liberty' performance for about 20 minuets. He was clearly enjoying the free run of the Greater Western Sydney football ground and evaded capture despite the best efforts of many.
The Koorana Pony Stud and the Tyre Family's, 'Koorana Fairylight' (Koorana Limited Edition/Koorana Anniversary) is pictured stepping out along with her handler to take out the Reserve Champion Australian Pony Mare award.
Charlotte Richardson did the honours with the Mills and Richardson nomination, 'Vancouver Park Anticipation' (Koora-Lyn Gordost/Kaylin Elegant) to take out the Australian Pony Mare Championship.
Daniel Harvey led the Koora-Lyn Pony Stud and Lyn Hohlweck's, 'Koora Lyn Lumina' ( K.L Cossack/K.L Nova) to claim the Junior Champion Australian Pony award as she did last year. The three year old filly also repeated her 2012 triumph and was declared Supreme Led Australian Pony.
The Koora-Lyn Pony Stud had a great show, with Luke Stuart-Smith leading their and Lyn Hohlweck's, Champion Australian Pony Stallion, 'Koora-Lyn Nathaniel' (Imperial Baledur/K.L. Ayem).
Harrison Rainnie was one of the few boys represented in the Pony Club riding events on the wet last day of the 2013 Sydney Royal Easter Show. Harrison rode ,'SP Phantastic' to take seventh place in the very hotly contested class for Pony Club Riders 15-17 Years.
Anna Wilson rode her,'Arcadia Lawson' to take third place in the class for Pony Club Rider 15-17 Years.
Michelle Haber led her own and Raymond Haber's, two year old colt,'Springtime Park Everlasting' (Rotherwood Footlight/Springtime Cherry Lane) to claim the Part Welsh Stallion/Colt Championship.
Sandra Henry rode the Jane Nelson and Richard Hughes nomination, 'Theresa Park Oliver Twist' to win the class for Ridden Buckskin Mare/Gelding Over 14hh.
Nicole Rivett rode her own and Julie Revett's, 'Pearl of Marconi' (Dutton Lea Select/Jewel of Marconi) to take out the award for Best Ridden Buckskin.
Melinda de Rooy led her own and Judith de Rooy's, 'Saradale Secret Affairs' (Syon Royal Portrait/Secrets0 to claim the Champion Mare and Supreme Led Part Welsh awards.
Imogen Thew rode , 'Madison Park Nonsense' to take third place in the class for Pony Club Rider 11-13 Years.
Brendan Kelly scored one for the boys in the Pony Club ring. He rode, 'Tenayen Rising Star' to win the strong class for Pony Club Riders 11-13 Years.
One of the strong contingent from Western Australia at the 2013 Sydney Royal Easter Show, Paula Ayres','Bevanlee Folklaw' (Ascot Royal Portrait/Bevanlee Sprite) took second place in the class for Ridden Part Welsh Mare/Gelding Over 13.2hh. They went on to take out the Ridden Part Welsh Reserve Championship.
The Blue Denim Pony Stud and W & E Friend's, 'Blue Denim Kaluha' (Amaranda Jacob/Blue Denim Kimberley) was declared Champion Ridden Australian Pony.
Kelly Hamblin's, 'Toolleen Amity Jane' (Owendale Sir Donald/Toolleen Amelia) won the class for Australian Pony Mare/Gelding 13-14hh.
Nordic Park and Sabre Medhurst's charming, 'Koorana Pzazz' (Koorana Royal Salute/Koorana Chanel) won the class for Ridden Australian Pony Mare/Gelding N.E. 12.2hh and went on to be declared Reserve Champion Ridden Australian Pony.
Bree Kerr rode her, 'Bimbadeen Brigadier' (Durdidwarrah Prince/Bombadeen Suzanne) to win the class for Ridden Australian Pony Stallion/Colt.
