New Zealand Showjumping Course Designer, Gerrit Becker measures the course and the beginning of a busy day's jumping.

Victorian combination, Steven Hill and 'Kelstar' make a lovely jump over this oxer during the Group 2 One Round competition.

Becky Allen is having a great show with, 'RSB Jacana'. The careful mare by Metall (by Ferro) won the Group 2 three round class yesterday and was second in the One Round class today.

Julia Hargreaves is pictured riding Amelia Hawthorne's well performed, 'Vertical Horizon' that was third in the Group 2 three round class yesterday.

Popular South Australian rider, Matt Afford is pictured riding his 'Kaluna Thunder Struck' that took second place in the Power and Speed this afternoon.

Wendy Schaeffer and 'Koyuna Sun Dancer' won their second Group 2 class this morning with a dashing round in the Article 238.2.1 (One Round)class.

David is on the move again with Wendy Ettershank's, 'Newington Etchings'. The beautiful mare by Brierdale Sequel out of Gallery, was declared Champion Led Galloway Mare earlier in the show and this morning claimed the Australian Saddle Pony mare Championship.

It was "weather for ducks" this morning, but even they went for the wet weather gear during the short lived downpour. Brian Harrington's charming girls are a regular and popular feature of Adelaide Show, as they do the rounds amongst the crowd.

Stephen Devine rode Clive Reed's, 'Kirkley Hill Dejavu' to fifth place in the competitive Junior class this morning. The Junior standard is strong, as is their enthusiasm to attend the show, with approximately 60 entering the section and 25 accepted.

Lucy Bowden rode her ' Gilbert Street' to win the first Junior class of the show this morning.

Sam Bezzina from Buronga in NSW makes a good jump with his 'SB Frootloops' during the Junior jump off class this morning.

Rebecca Burns and her 'Sir Luke', that featured in a Horse Deals Off the Track story a few months ago, both look to be concentrating during the first Junior Jumping competition of the show this morning.

A well travelled Gemma Creighton from Queensland rode Thomas Tucker's 'Just A Touch' to take second place in the Junior Jumping class this morning.

An elegant Jacqui Boyd, with an equally elegant passenger, Kelsey Bailes, drove her 'Ashwood Quest For Fame' to win the Period Turnout for Horses and Galloways.

David Quayle did the honours with Debbie Mckay's stallion, 'Aspen Way Gold Night' by Weston Mirage, to claim the Supreme Led Australian Saddle Pony award. David is pictured with judge Margot Maitland who copped the worst of the morning downpour.

Five year old Isabella Johnson from Gawler had a wonderful time in the Leading Rein class this morning, thanks mostly to her wonderful pony, 'Wyann Phantom'. Mum, Michelene Johnson, pretty much left the capable pair to it.

Seven year old, Caitlin Fricker rode the Corumbene Stud's adorable, 'Rivington Titmouse', with mum, Elizabeth Fricker making up the trio, to fourth place in the Pretty Ponies Leading Rein Class.

The Douglas Family's successful, 'Diamonds of Tuscany' was in the winners circle again. Today , Eliza Douglas stepped aboard, and with a bit of help from mum, Kylie Douglas, won the Pretty Ponies Leading Rein class.

Francesca Christie rode Christine Frost's well performed, Elmdale Park Ambiants' to win the Lightweight Galloway class.

Chanel Hunter rode Julie and Tom Luxton's 'Riversea Park Repertoire' to second place in the class for Lightweight Galloway.

Very successful showing competitor, Shelly Penny is pictured with her 'Jon Pierre' that took third place in the Lightweight Galloway class this afternoon.

Tess Hughes from Mount Gambier rode her very well performed, 'Janevelyn Jazzman' to fourth place in the class for Lightweight Galloway Hack.

Darryl Hayes produced some super work form Ashley Reid's 'Wesswood Royal Caste' and was rewarded with victory in the Heavyweight Galloway Hack class and the Gents Galloway.

Elise Williams from Port Lincoln rode her 'Kolbeach Marine' to fifth place in the class for Heavyweight Galloway Hack.

Kimberley Higgins from Clarendon in South Australia worked well with her 'Kista Park Coronation' and was just out of the placings in the class for Heavyweight Galloway Hack.

Tamara Lee from Eden Park in Victoria produced a lovely workout riding her, Wesswood Seduction' for sixth place in the class for Heavyweight Galloway Hack.

The Heavy Harness rather upset Tayla Anderson's 'Janevelyn Makin Magic', preventing her from producing her best in the Heavyweight Galloway workout. They finished just out of the placings.

Lily McEvoy from Strathmore has had a super show with her 'Gordon Park Masquerade'. The chestnut from Perth by Oakvale Serenade was Best Novice Galloway, won the Open 14-14.2hh class and went on to be awarded Reserve Champion Galloway.

Michael Christie has had great success with Caroline Kuhn's beautiful, 'Mirinda Eyeliner'. Surprisingly that success has not included a Royal Championship, until today. Judge, Sally Miller selected the mare by Ninfield Minks Supreme out of Red Polly, from the typey and good working group she had selected for the final ride off, which was conducted "on the circle" due to the heavy harness class being conducted in the adjoining arena.

Cassie White rode the Whistlejackets Stud's 'Wesswood In Vogue' to second place in the class for Lady's Galloway Hack.

Melissa Karutz rode Sophie Grose's well performed, 'Keanbree De Ja Vu' to win the class for Lady's Galloway Hack.

Clem Smith from Queensland rode his 'Riverside Freedom' to take second place in the Group 3 Article 238.1.3 (three rounds) late this afternoon. The class was won by South Australian rider, Clayton Kennedy riding , 'GH Vertigo'.
