2013 Brisbane Royal Show

The Teys and Plucknett Family had a successful day in the Pony ring, with a busy Melissa Plucknett riding 'Wellen Magic Box' to take out both Champion Novice and Open Pony Hack 12.2 hands and Under. Melissa also rode the Teys and Plucknett nomination, 'Merivale Park Kings Ransome'to take out both Reserve Champion Novice and Open Pony 12.2-14hh.

Paul Austin burst on to the arena first up this morning riding Emily Wonka's and his own nomination, the beautiful, 'Dicavalli Delta' that is by Donatraum out of a De Niro mare. They went on to claim the Novice Light Weight Show Hunter Hack class and the Novice Show Hunter Championship. And they continued on to win the Open 10 Stone Show hunter class and, Delta was declared Reserve Champion Open Show Hunter

Amanda O'Sullivan made it an impressive Dicavalli double when she claimed the Reserve Champion Show Hunter Hack award with her, 'Dicavalli Royal Georgio' by Royal Gregor, that was second in the Light weight class to the eventual Champion.

RC Hayse's 'All Stylish' took fourth place in the class for Novice Lightweight Show Hunter.

Emmerson Ball made a charming picture with her, 'Crestwood Espionage' that won the class for Novice Show Hunter Pony N.E.12.2hh and went on to claim the Novice Show Hunter Pony Reserve Championship.

From the Western District in Victoria, well known jumping rider, Katie Clarke is enjoying more than just the lovely Brisbane weather. Katie is pictured aboard her, 'Magic Master' that took fourth place in the Group C jump off class this morning.

Queensland rider, Amy Bradfield rode her, 'Balmoral Georgio' to fifth place in the Group C jump off class this morning.

Elle Wade rode her Queensland bred, 'Jaybee Georgio' to third place in the class for Novice Heavyweight Show Hunter Hack.

Amylee Holborn-quirk rode her own and the GC Equestrian nomination, 'D'Artanian' to second place in the class for Novice Heavyweight Show Hunter Hack.

Hannah English's, 'Fletcher Jones' is a nice Hunter type. He produced a super workout, complete with flying change, looked a lovely ride and took fourth place in the class for Heavyweight Show Hunter Hack.

Natalie Parnell's, 'Oaklands Park In Your Dreams' took fourth place in the class for Open Pony 12-12.2hh.

Mary Richardson rode the Readimarr Pony Stud's delightful, 'Readimarr Blue's Clues' to take second place in both the Novice and Open class for Pony 12-12.2hh and went on to be declared both Reserve Champion Novice and Reserve Champion Open Small Pony.

Grace Berry had a successful day. It began riding Lisa Berry's, 'Brendonna Calendar Girl' to third place in the class for Open Pony 12-12.2hh.

Caitlin Senter rode B and A Woods' lovely, 'Bordershow The Tempter' to win the class for Novice Pony N.E. 12hh and take third place in the Open N.E. 12hh class.

Bridgette Chalmers rode the de Jong and Chalmers nomination, 'To Lara Park Diva' to win the class for Open pony N.E.12hh.

Darryl Keir is pictured aboard his, 'Upstates Promise' that took fourth place in the class for Novice Hack 15-16hh.

Abby Lovell is pictured aboard the Lovell Family's, 'Giovanni' during the judging of the class for Novice Hack 15-16hh.

Chloe Ireland is pictured aboard her gleaming, 'Glencoe In Paris' that took second place in the class for Novice Hack 15-16hh.

Darryl Hayes stepped in for an injured Michael Christie and rode the beautiful Bailey, Christie and McCann nomination, 'Awards' to win the class for Novice Hack Over 16hh and claim the Champion Novice Hack award.

Jasmine Peters rode Patricia Arnold's, 'Hot Shot Henry' to win the class for Novice Hack 15-16hh.

Bridgette Chalmers rode Sally and Nina George's lovely, 'Headley Park Mink's Music' to third place in the class for Novice pony 13-13.2hh.

Nine year old Allie Wenning rode her, 'Elray All Saint' very well to take sixth place in the class for Novice Pony 13-13.2hh.

Sam Southern rode the Southern Family's, 'Bamborough Bolero' to fifth place in the class for Novice pony 13-13.2hh.

Sarah Ryan rode her, 'Dicavalli Royal Gianni' to fourth place in the class for Open 12 Stone Show Hunter.

Renee Simpson is pictured aboard her, 'Rim of Fire' that took fifth place in the class for Open 12 Stone Show Hunter.

Madison McGill is pictured aboard the Douglas Family's lovely, 'Westlake Starstruck' that took second place in both the Novice and Open Pony 13.2-14hh classes.

Maddy Sears rode the successful Lenihan and Uppington Nomination, 'Rose-Air Britany' to win both the Novice and Open 13.2-14hh pony classes.

Jordie Lee Young had a great show with her, 'White Rose Roman Ella' that won the Novice and Open 12.2-13hh classes and was declared both Novice and Open Large Pony Champion.

Becky Jenkins had her hands full with her own and husband Stuart's impressive four year old, 'Fairview Elevation'. By Elias out of the jumping mare, Anikate, Elevation at only his second show was a not sure about the heavy harness, but improved with his second outing and was placed down the line in the Open 14 Stone Hack class. No doubt we will she him in the jumping arena in years to come.

Emma Adams produced some beautiful work with her wonderful Jive Magic mare, 'EBL Juliett' to win the Open 14 Stone Show Hunter class and claim the Open Show Hunter Hack Championship.

Andrea Brooks won the Open 12 Stone Hack class with her delightful, 'Bradman'. Formerly shown by Bruce Flood, Bradman looked a treat and a treat to ride.

Successful Queensland rider, Katika Lipp rode her 'Absolut Royalty' to second place in the class for Open 14 Stone Show Hunter.

Billy Raymont had a great day with his super Thoroughbred jumper, 'Stardom'. The handsome black horse won the Group A class this morning and jumped 1.90m to win the Puissance this afternoon.

Grace Berry finished off a good day by claiming the N.E.12.2hh class and the Show Hunter Pony Championship with Lisa Berry's super Victorian bred pony, 'Cherrytree Vagabond'

Brendan Kelly rode the Kelly Family's, 'Tenayen Rising Star' to win the class for Show Hunter pony Over 12.2hh and claim the Show hunter pony Reserve championship.
