The RNA stand on mandatory Hendra vaccination took it's toll on the final day of judging. The normally busy morning was very quiet indeed. The RNA decision regarding vaccination is being vindicated as one by one, societies and institutions realise the importance of Hendra prevention.

Tayla and Claudia Greve's, 'Pinjarrah Park Dream On' (Karlarna Say Farewell/Pinjarrah Park Dreamtime) won the Led Palomino Mare class this morning and this afternoon, with Tayla in the saddle won the class for Palomino Under Saddle.

On a very quiet Saturday afternoon, Madison Bryans rode her, 'Collins Park Steve' to fifth place in the class for ANSA Mare/Gelding 14-15hh.

Great crowd numbers of more than 400,000 attended, the 2013 Royal Queensland Show (Ekka). With the countdown to Ekka 2014 already underway, the RNA announced this morning that next year's show would start one day later running from Friday 8 August to Sunday 17 August.
