Kira-Lee Newman from Noosa was understandably keen to keep on the move this morning. Despite feeling the cold, Kira-Lee rode Katelyn Butler's 'Araylon Joshua' to sixth place in the strong class for Shetland to be Ridden by a Boy/Girl Under 10 Years.

Edwina Harrison from Aldgate in South Australia rode her, 'Willowcroft Royal Emerald to fourth place in the class for Open Ponies 14.2-14hh.

Ester Robinson rode the Centrone Family's, 'Kobyboyn Victor' to fourth place in the class for Shetland to be Ridden by a Boy/Girl Under 10 Years.

Dale Plumb rode Suzy Stewart's well performed, 'Mandalay Pure Silk' to second place in the class for Open Pony 13.2-14hh.

Stephanie Barrington rode Leanne Fielding's, 'Somerfield Sound of Music' , (another to measure up), to take third place in the class for Open Pony 13.2-14hh.

Stephanie Barrington looks to be having a most enjoyable time riding the Wingana Stud and Chipperfield nomination, 'Wingana Loving Cup'. And so she should, as the very well performed pony won the class for Show Hunter 13-14hh and went on to claim the Show Hunter Pony Championship.

Di White from Horsham is really stepping out on her, 'Castileon Park Second Edition'. The big moving pony took fourth place in the class for Show Hunter 13-14hh.

Linda Hayes rode Graham Elliott's very successful, Kolbeach Promise' to take second place in the class for Open Pony 13-13.2hh.

Rebecca Newman from Nar Nar Goon rode her, 'Barrington Royal Ensign' to second place in the class for Show Hunter Pony 12-13hh.

Martine Duncan from Grose Vale in NSW braved the Melbourne chill to win the Open 12.2-13hh Pony class with her, 'Rathowen Saxony', later in the afternoon they were declared Champion Large Pony.

A busy Jessica Dunn from Moorooduc rode her 'Cheraton Royal Scandal' to win the class for Show Hunter Pony 12-13hh.

Nicole Riemer's successful, 'Deeplake Fascination' has recently been sold to New Zealand. He was not going to let his last Melbourne Royal go by without just one more victory. With Riley Baker in the saddle, Fascination won the class for Show Hunter Pony 12hh and Under and go on to be declared Reserve Champion Hunter Pony.

Erika Grant from Darlington in Victoria rode her charming, 'Dalgangle Hunterway' to fourth place in the class for Show Hunter Pony 12hh and Under.

Breanna Woodman rode Mrs C Anderson's good working, 'Willowglen Lightening Bolt' to third place in the class for Show Hunter Pony 12hh and Under.

Tahlia Bird from Sunday Creek in Victoria did a great job in difficult conditions to take fourth place in the class for Open Pony 12-12.2hh riding her, 'Warranwood Beaumauris'.

Bridgette Chalmers rode the McMahon and McCormick Families' beautiful and very well preformed, 'Silkwood Angel Wings' to win the class for Open Pony 11.2-12hh and be declared Reserve Champion Small pony.

Fiona Course rode Christy O'Sullivan's 'Langtree Gemima' to second place in the class for Open Pony 11.2-12hh.

Carla Box from Purumbete in Victoria did a super job in very trying conditions to take fifth place in the class for Open Pony 11.2-12hh with her, 'Levens Just Heavenly'.

A very busy and cold Queenslander, Bridgette Chalmers, rode Roger Searle's nomination, 'Kolbeach Swell' to win the class for Open Pony 12-12.2hh. The lovely pony has just been sold and is now owned by a very lucky Madeline Pagon from Willunga in South Australia. Linda Hayes rode 'Swell" to take out the Small Pony Championship.

Chanele Hunter rode Lyn Warburton's lovely, Kolbeach Class' to win the class for Open Pony 13-13.2hh.

Chanele Hunter rode the McMahon and McCormick Families' homebred, 'Leander Hello Dolly' to second place in the class for Open Pony 12.2-13hh. A little later on the very cold day, Bridgette Chalmers (pictured) rode Dolly to win the Child's Pony class.

Bree Petrie rode the Manorvale Stables, 'Manorvale Diamond Diva' (that measured up) to win the class for Open Pony 13.2-14hh and go on to take out the Reserve Champion Large Pony.

Karen Fisher rode the' super pony, 'County Liar' by Keston Royal Occasion, to take second place in the strong class for Show Hunter 13-14hh.
