Maureen Pengelly drove her Owendale Apricot to win the Pony Driven in Single Harness, 11 hands and not over 12 hands and went on to take out the Champion Harness Pony 12 hands and under.

Amanda Ragg drove her own and Wendy Ragg's Glenwood Silk-N-Ize to fourth place in the Single Harness, 11 hands and not over 12 hands.

Mrs. C Normington drove Wendy Parsons well known 23 year old, Nattai Carradog to sixth place in the Single Harness, 11 hands and not over 12 hands.

Ashley Gorton won the Boy Rider 12 and Under 14 years and then was declared Reserve Champion Boy Rider 12-18 years.

Patrick Moloney won the Boy's Riding Competition Riders 12 and under 14 and went on to be declared Champion Boy Rider 12 and under 18 years.

John Patterson drove Sarah Redpath's Riding Pony, Chippenham Titled to fourth place in the Pony Driven in Single Harness over 13 hands and not over 14 hands.The versatile pony was declared Best Novice Pony Hack at Adelaide recently.

Cassie Lloyd was placed second in the Girl Rider 16 and under 18 years.

The smiley, Courtney Remington took third place in the Girls Riding Compeition 16 and under 18 years.

Holly Gross took fourth place in the Girls Ringing competition 16 and under 18 years riding Ke-Anbree De Ja Vu who was placed second in the Child's Mount 14-15hh later in the day.

Kerrie Barlow drove the Barlow Family's, well performed Nagero Grasshopper to win the Champion Harness Pony 12 hands and not over 14 hands and go on to take out the Supreme Champion Harness Pony.

The work arena has a one hour of lunging followed by an alternate hour of riding, this time table is followed from 4am.

This year there are just over 160 stables at Melbourne Show. Long gone are the days when there were over 700 stables!

Tayla Anderson won the Girl Rider 16-18 years and went on to be declared Reserve Champion Girl Rider 15-18 years.

Courtney Bird took second place in the Girl Rider 15 years of age.

After a wonderful Adelaide Royal, Lilly McEvoy started Melbourne well with a win in the Child's Galloway class with her Gordon Park Masquerade. They are now eligible to ride off for Champion Galloway on Thursday.

Miss T Williams rode Mayflower Bumblebee to fifth place in the Child's Galloway.

Emily Dennis rode Lawlington Park Rendition to fourth place in the Ghild's Galloway.

Rose McEvoy started the day well, taking out the Champion Girl rider 15 and under 18 years riding Grazier. Later in the day this combination won the Child's Hack, making them eligiable for Champion Hack on Thursday eveing.

Demi Morrison rode Mrs. Barb Begley's,well performed, Lemracs Dancing Poet to third place in the Child's Hack.

Bryson Bensley drove his Stillbrok Tabitha to win the Light Horse Driven in Single Harness over 14 hands and not over 15 hands and went on to take out the Champion Harness Horse over 14 hands. Later in the day Bryson drove his Donolly Victory to win Champion Hackney or Part Bred Hackney Harness Horse over 14 hands.

Elsa Avery drove her Crosswynds Dutchess to win the Light Horse Driven in Single Harness over 15 hands and then took out the Reserve Champion Harness horse over 14 hands.

Staphanie Barington was pleased to win the Lady Rider 18 and under 21 years.

Alexa Ward took second place in the Lady Rider 18 and under 21 years.

Leah Phelan won the Lady Rider 21 years and under 30 years.

Chanelle Hunter took fourth place in the Lady Rider 18 and under 21 years .

Fiona Course was placed third in the Lady Rider 21 and under 30 years.

Warren Barlow drove the Barlow Family's Makari Premiere to be declared Reserve Champion Hackney or Part Bred Hackney Harness Horse over 14 hands.

After taking out the Championship at Adelaide Royal, Rebecca Farrow had to be content with second place at Melbourne in the Lady rider over 30 years.

Susanne Petersen was placed fifth in the Lady Rider over 30 years.

Sara Love riding her delightful hunter, Tulloch Ard was thrilled to win the Lady Rider over 30 years.
