On a wet Easter Saturday morning, Briony Payne got the Open Hack classes under way. Briony is pictured riding Cherrie Uchtman's well performed 'Nadal' by Fairlight Acres Kristian to second place in the class for Open Hack 15-15.2hh.

Georgina Wadsworth from Naromine in NSW rode her 'Solitary Man' to fourth place in the class for Open Hack 15-15.2hh.

Tyler Harris from Queensland rode her Champion Ridden ANSA Exhibit, 'Dunelm Royal Obsession' to third place in the class for Open Hack 15-15.2hh.

The usually loquacious, Chanele Hunter only had a few words to say in a post victory interview after taking out the Open Hack 15-15.2hh class with her lovely Thoroughbred, 'Crewe'.

Ever the professional and beautiful show horse; 'Elmdale Park Poise' nominated and ridden by Sarah Adams took fifth place in the class for Open Hack 15-15.2hh.

Legendary and successful showing identify, Bruce Flood rode his impressive, 'Bradman' to win the class for Open Hack Over 16.2hh.

Mark Kenzig rode the Kenzig, Connell and Wadsworth nomination, 'Supernatural' by Flamboyant to second place in the class for Open Hack Over 16.2hh.

Alex Berwick from Upper Pakenham in Victoria and 'DP Prayer' make a Lovely picture. The beautiful horse by Bianconi was third in the class for Open Hack Over 16.2hh.

Tamnara Bondfield from Warwick in Queensland rode her 'Royal Gamble' to fourth place in the class for Open Hack Over 16.2hh.

Long time and successful showing exhibitor and rider, Terry Cowan rode the Corvi, Beggs and Cowan nomination, 'Menzies' by Kingston Rule to fifth place in the class for Open Hack Over 16.2hh.

Sally Hallis is really enjoying her return to the show ring, and why not when you have the ride on Maryanne Marshall's beautiful, 'DP Mayfair'. Despite the unpleasant conditions they worked well to claim the class for Open Hack 15.2-16hh and with it the Tony Haynes Memorial Trophy.

The always elegant and ever youthful, Jaonne Prestwidge, rode her own and the Morelli Family's 'Bells' by Naturalism to second place in the class for Open Hack 15.2-16hh.

Young Victorian rider, Rachel Keskenen rode her delightful and successful, 'Request' to third place in the class for Open Hack 15.2-16hh.

New Zealand judge, Celia Warren looks pleased that she alone is dressed elegantly for the weather. L-R Deborah Bell and Helen Heagney, elegantly attired, but not for the weather, look as if they will need some coaxing to come out and judge the Mount, Rider and Equipment classes this morning.

Edwina Hutton -Potts from Robertson in NSW rode her well named, 'Charming' to fourth place in the class for Open Hack 15.2-16hh.

"After the deluge", or at least during it, Dale Plumb rode his super hack of the moment, 'DP Amazing' to win the class for Open Hack 16-16.2hh.

Courtney Smith stepped aboard her Best Novice Hack, (ridden by Gina Montgomery in the Novice class) to cop a drenching, but not before taking third place in the strong class for Open Hack 16-16.2hh.

It doesn't matter what the weather does, Tammy Notman's successful Zabeel gelding, 'Galveston' still looks beautiful. They took second place in the class for Open Hack 16-16.2hh.

Second in the Novice class Kylie Raymont from Ridgewood in Queensland rode her own and Sarah Godfrey's 'High Court' to fourth place in the class for Open Hack 16-16.2hh.

Tim Myers from New Zealand, but presently from Kulnura in NSW, rode the New Zealand bred, 'Pick Me' NZPH with considerable style to take third place in the Young Rider Jump Off class this afternoon.

Sarah Louise McMillan jumped one of just two double clear rounds aboard, 'The Countryman' to take second place, in difficult conditions, in the Young rider jump off class this afternoon.

Despite the difficult conditions, Nicholas Sheehan makes a lovely jump aboard his 'Bonaventure' during the jump off to win the Young Rider class this afternoon.

Successful exhibitor and judge, Jan Lyons rode her 'Headley Park Choir Boy' , by Royalwood Boy Soprano, to win the class for Novice Galloway 14-14.2hh and go on to take out the Best Novice Galloway award..

Carlene Nossiter from Maraylya in NSW rode her , Janevelyn Moment of Truth' by Weston Mirage to win the class for Novice Galloway 14.2-15hh.
