Indya Povey is pictured working out in the class for Girl Rider 12-15 Years for fifth place.

Experienced show rider, Tahlia Wells took seventh place in the large class for Girl Rider 12-15 Years.

Shae Hanger from the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria rode her 'Highmont' to take out her second Ida Buring-Rinegolde Perpetual prize for Mount Rider and Equipment, Lady Riders 17 Years and Over.

A delighted Nicole Sandrone took out the Best Welsh C Exhibit award with her 'Niscinda Toffee Mint' (Mariana Lodge Valentino/Rockfalls Shady Lady).

Dylan Smith took out the class for Boy Rider 6 and Under 9 Years.

Riley Kent took second place in the class for Boy Rider 9 and Under 12 Years. He had the opportunity to come in to work for the Reserve Champion Junior Boy Rider and made the most of it to claim the runner up award.

Judge Matthew Dowsley is pictured with his Champion Junior Boy Rider, Heath Lennie who won the class for Boy Rider 9 and Under 12 Years.

Mark Kenzig rode his own, Sarah Connell and Harriet Wadsworth's 'Supernatural' to take second place in the Gent's Hack class.

Well known society hairdresser and showing exhibitor, Joh Bailey rode his 'INXS' to win the class for Gentleman's Hack.

Edwina Hutton-Potts won the class for Girl Rider 15 and Under 17 Years.

Rose McEvoy usually rides 'Grazier', however she was kind enough to let her sister Lily ride the horse in the huge class for Girl Rider 12 and Under 15 Years. Lily made the most of the opportunity on the well performed hack to win the class and go on to claim the Champion Senior Girl Rider title.

Successful Gold Coast rider, Shoshona Newman did not waste the opportunity to work for and claim the Reserve Champion Senior Girl Rider title.

Brothers in Arms. L-R Layton Johnson -McNeil won the class for Boy Rider 12 and Under 15 Years and went on to take out the Senior Boy Rider Championship. His brother, Ryan was second in the class and took out the Reserve Championship. They are pictured with Riding judge, Matthew Dowsley.

Madison Ovington took sixth place in the always strong class for Girl Rider 9 and Under 12 Years.

Caitlin Fricker from Adelaide did very well to make the workout for Girl Rider 9 and Under 12. The nine year old has just moved in to the older group and took eighth place in the strong class.

Regular Sydney competitor, Charli Morelli took fourth place in the strong class for Girl Rider 9 and Under 12 Years.

Louise Doyle rode Alison Doyle's 'DP Ophelia' to second place in the Crane Trophy. In 2010 and this year the Crane Trophy for Mares Showing Thoroughbred Qualities and Suitable for Breeding Hacks has been restricted to horses 15-16hh, and not as has been tradition for many years, 14.2-15.2hh. There is talk that the Crane will be back to 14.2-15.2hh next year.

Despite her age, Eliza Douglas is an experienced show rider. She took second place this morning in the class for Girl Rider 6 and Under 9 Years.

Angela Rodham from the Hunter Valley as always gave a superb exhibition of riding sidesaddle to win the class for Lady Rider Sidesaddle aboard her 'Skyview Trilogy'. Angela's expertise is not restricted to the side saddle, as she won the class for Lady Rider 21-40 Years and took out the Champion Lady Rider title at Sydney for the fourth occasion.

Formerly from the outback of WA, but now resident in Victoria, Sally Shaw again demonstrated her considerable ability by winning the class for Girl Rider 9 and Under 12 Years. Sally went on to take out the award for Champion Junior Girl Rider. Sally is pictured riding Ashley Reid's very well performed, 'Wesswood Royal Caste' that was ridden later in the day by Darryl Hayes to win the class for Open Heavyweight Galloway 14-14.2hh.

Seven year old Daizi Plumb from Cardinia in Victoria again demonstrated her talent by winning the class for Girl Rider 6 and under 9 Years; a surprisingly strong class.

Brynn Clarke from Bensville in NSW rode her new horse, the very well performed Galloway, 'Willowcroft Regal Winter' . Brynn took second place in the strong class for Girl Rider 9 and Under 12 Years and came in and claimed the Reserve Champion Junior Girl Rider award. Later in the day Trinette Crawford rode Regal Winter, formerly shown by the Durante Family, to win the class for Lightweight Galloway 14.-14.2hh.

Well known and successful South Australian showing rider, Samantha Kennedy rode Angela Forster's Novice 15-15.2hh winner, 'Silver Elegant' to take out the Crane Trophy for Mares 15-16hh Showing Thoroughbred Qualities. The lovely grey mare and former racehorse has made an impressive Royal Show debut.

Brontai Sams rode her 'Sanelling Park All That Jazz' to third place in the class for Show Hunter Pony N.E. 12hh.

Chelsea Morelli rode Ermond and Cherie Morelli's well performed, 'Janevelyn Jazzman' to fourth place in the class for Open Heavyweight Galloway 14-14.2hh.

A grown up looking Brooke Gavin is pictured riding the Bindi Stud and the Gavin Family's 'Bindi Eye Standing Ovation' in he class for Open Show Hunter Pony 12-13hh.

Georgia Dalley rode Mandy Clenton's charming, 'Honeydew Mickey J' to sixth place in the class for Open Show Hunter Pony 12-13hh.

Terry Lamey rode her own and Leah Walsh's beautiful and successful, 'Wizardry' to fourth place in the class for Lightweight Galloway 14-14.2hh.

Kylie Douglas rode the Douglas Family's Show Hunter sensation, 'Wingana Loving Cup' to win the class for Show Hunter Pony 13-14hh and claim the Show Hunter Pony Championship. The Chiperfield family bred the lovely pony and that has been National Champion Show Hunter Pony with Stephanie Barrington in the saddle. It looks as if the Douglas family are going to continue in their successful footsteps.

George Howe rode the Howe Family's, wonderful Welsh B, 'Weston Park Vivaldi' to take second place in the class for Show Hunter Pony 13-14hh and go on to claim the Reserve Champion Show Hunter Pony title.

Jess Stalling as always rode beautifully to take fourth place in the class for Open Heavyweight Galloway 14.2-15hh riding Warren Pratley's, 'Glendon Brae Shiloh'.

Trinette Crawford had a grand day in the Galloway ring winning two classes, the second, the Heavyweight 14.2-15hh class with Lisa Cleary and the Highcroft Stud's, 'Wellan Special Edition' that was second in the Novice 14.2-15hh.

Nici Jamieson from Doonan in Queensland rode her well performed Galloway, 'Rathowen Envy' to win the class for Lightweight Galloway 14.2-15hh

Francesca Christie rode her own and Heather Austin's nomination, 'Laniers' to take second place in the class for Open Lightweight Galloway 14..2-15hh.

Pam Bush from NSW rode her well performed, 'Nottingham Fine Print' to fifth place in the class for Open Lightweight Galloway 14.2-15hh.

Linsey Roberts rode Kim and Paul Barnes' delightful, 'Yarra Heights Trick Or Treat' to win the class for Show Hunter Pony N.E. 12hh.
