2010 Sydney Royal Easter Show

Kim Durante rode her three time Sydney Galloway Champion, 'Regal Winter'. This year they produced a very polished work out but had to settle for Reserve.

Joanne Stewart rode the Rafferty Horse Rug's nomination, 'Kolbeach Limelight' to take third place inthe class for Lady's Galloway.

Successful showing exhibitor, Edwina Cullen rode the Vella and Cullen nomination, 'Royalwood County Squire' to take fourth place in the class for Lady's Galloway.

There was plenty of Imperial blood flowing through the veins of the Welsh Mountain Pony exhibits today. And Mark Bullen, principle of the Imperial Stud led his beautiful Two Year Old Filly, 'Imperial Baled' (Imperial Caruso/Trentlyn Bianca) to take out the Welsh Mountain Pony Mare/Filly Championship.

Steve Paris did the honours with his own and Gordon Ball's 'Alcheringa Paris' (Carlyle Pocket/Penyghent Vienna) that won the class for Welsh Mountain Pony Stallion, Four Years and Over.

Popular exhibitor, Daniel Harvey led his own, Eagle Park and Mathew McDougall's 'Imperial Nevada' (Imperial Lookout/Imperial Nell) to win the class for Welsh Mountain Pony Colt Three Years, claim the Stallion/Colt Champion and go on to take out the Supreme Welsh Mountain Pony award. At the end of the day, Daniel and 'Imperial Nevada' ran away with the Nattai Trophy for Best Welsh In Hand.

A very busy "lady in red", Christy Hall led the Hall and Teys nomination, 'DP Honours' (Courtland Boy Blue/Mirinda Maid Of Honour) to win the class for Riding Pony Mare Four Years and Over, N.E 12.2hh.

Youth and experience! Riding Pony judge and successful and popular showing exhibitor, John Paget (on R) is pictured with distinguished young Ring Steward, Jamie Bell.

Rose McEvoy and 'Grazier' from Victoria again produced a beautiful workout, on this occasion to win the Child's Hack class.

Francesca Christie made a one class bid to make it into the Championship ride off with her own and Stephen Merry's beautiful, 'Mind Games' pictured during the AV Pope Cup for Horses Showing Thoroughbred Qualities. Alas, Francesca had to sit this Championship out in the stands.

This year the AV Pope Cup was judged by Hack judge, Rebecca Farrow and Thoroughbred judge, Neale Lavis, both pictured.

Lori Howell is pictured with Daphne Shiels' charming Champion Miniature Pony Mare and Supreme Champion Miniature Pony, 'Joemoor Bess' (Akonea Valentine/Joemoor Tracy Nell).

Isabella Bassett is pictured working out in the Small Pony Championship with the Corvan Park and Seabreeze Show Ponies N.E 11.2hh winner, 'Corvan Park Realm'.

The McMahon and McCormick Families' sensational, 'Silkwood Angel Wings' claimed yet another Small Pony Championship to her long and ever increasing list of awards. The pony is pictured with Holly Lewis in the saddle during the Championship workout.

Georgia Dalley rode Kim Adby and Rebecca Bennett's eye catching and lovely working pony, 'Mondiso Park Watch Me' to take out the Small Pony Reserve Championship. They are pictured with Pony judge, Julie Crisp.

Jess Stalling makes a beautiful picture with Penelope Cobbold's 'Kolbeach Chanting' (Fernleigh Fine Print/Oldcourt Balilika imp) that won the class for Open Pony 13.2-14hh and went on to claim the Large Pony Championship.

'Mirinda Touch of Mink' is just irrepressible. With Elyse Douglas from Queensland in the saddle, the super successful pony wont the Open Pony 13-13.2hh class and went on to take out the large Pony Reserve Championship.

The McMahon and McCormick's beautiful, home bred, 'Leanda Hello Dolly', ridden by Chanel Hunter won the class for Open Pony 12.2-13hh. They are pictured during the Large Pony Championship workout.

Chelsea Morelli produced a super workout riding the Morelli and Prestwidge nomination, 'Falconhurst World Class' that won the class for Child's Pony 12.2-14hh. They are pictured during the Championship workout.

Bianca Sault from The Oaks in NSW is pictured with her Champion Miniature Pony Stallion, 'Sterling Bold as Brass' by Dell Tera's Paycheck.

Jess Stalling was back in action for the Galloway Championship. She is pictured riding Bruce Flood and Alanah Austin's Heavyweight 14.2-15hh winner 'Sanlirra Larrikan' in the Championship ride off.

Michael Christie is seriously on a role with Caroline Kuhn's beautiful Galloway, 'Mirinda Eyeliner'. The mare won the Open Lightweight 14.2-15hh and went on to claim the Galloway Championship. Eyeliner has now won top Galloway honours at,Adelaide and Melbourne in 2009 and Canberra and Sydney so far in 2010.

Sally George is pictured with the George Family's beautiful Riding Pony Mare, 'Rathowen Scarlet Ribbons' (Courtland Boy Blue imp/Rathowen Russet) that was declared Champion Riding Pony Mare/Filly.

Darren Telford is doing the honours with the Whitmere Stud's yearling colt, 'Whitmere Secret Agent' (Colbeach Splendour imp/LJS Keeping Secret) that was declared Champion Riding Pony Stallion/Colt and Supreme Champion Riding Pony Exhibit to claim the Willowcroft Perpetual Trophy.

Angela Kyle from Carrara in Queensland rode her well performed, 'Rathowen Storm Warning' to win the class for Child's Galloway. They are picture during the Galloway Championship ride off.

Terrie Lamey's and Leah Walsh's beautiful four year old 'AP Wizardry' (Rothwell Toy Town/Phantom Park Solitaire) certainly put his best foot forward at Sydney. They won the Lady's Galloway class and are pictured during the Galloway Championship workout.

Victorian, Sue Thompson rode her delightful ans successful, 'Concerto' to win the Open Hack 15-15.2hh class and go on to take out the Sydney Royal Reserve Hack Championship

Bruce Flood rode his own and Maryanne Marshall's beautiful, 'DP Mayfair' to win the class for Open Hack 15.2-16hh. They are pictured during their Championship workout.

Ros Lip is no stranger to beautiful horses. She did after all produce Trent Nathan and WS Black Label. Ros gave notice that she has another at Canberra Royal a few weeks ago and confirmed the fact at Sydney today.She won the Novice Over 16.2hh class earlier in the show and won the Colonel AV Pope Cup this morning, and this afternoon claimed the Sydney Royal Hack Championship with her Clang gelding 'Kholo'.

Hack judge Rebecca Farrow from Victoria has produced a fashion parade of beautiful outfits all show and today chose this wonderfully elegant riding outfit to give a ridden judgement of the Champion Hack contenders. Rebecca rode, Kim Durante's 16-16.2 winner, 'Black Tie' (pictured), Sue Thompson's 'Concerto', Ros Lipp's 'Kholo', Annabella Drexel's 'SLM Flirting' (Lady's) and Bruce Flood's 'DP Mayfair'.
