Rachel Keskinen from Victoria had a super day today. She won the Ida Buring Rinegolde Turnout class (Sydney's answer to the Garryowen) and later in the day won the class for Lady Rider 21-40 Years and went on to be declared Reserve Champion Lady Rider. Rachel and her horse, 'Request' that did actually win the Garryowen with Linda Hayes on board, is pictured with judges, L-R Warren Coyle, Julie Crisp, Karen Hood and Pam Ahern.

Courtney Christie rode her own and Stephen Merry's beautiful National Champion Small Hack, 'Magnifique' by Bianconi, to with the FL Crane Perpetual Trophy for Mares Showing Thoroughbred Qualities. Interestingly this was the first year that the height stipulation for the Crane was changed from 14.2-15.2hh to 15-16hh.

At just eight years old, Shilo Harvey did a super job with the Corvan Park Stud and the Harvey Family's 'Corvan Park Miss Attitude' to win the class for Show Hunter Pony N.E. 12hh. The talented young rider went on to take second place in her Rider 6-9 Years class.

Six year old Daizi Plumb won her 6-9 Years Girl Rider class and went on to be declared Reserve Champion Junior Girl Rider. The beginning of a great career no doubt.
Eleven year old Quensland rider, Kira-Lee Newman has won the Junior Girl Rider Championship at Brisbane Royal, Adelaide Royal, Melbourne Royal and now, Sydney Royal. Not a bad effort and no wonder she looks pleased.
