2009 Sydney Royal Easter Show

Natalie McNeil and her 'Peppy Mint' look as if they really mean business during the first Junior class of the show, not surprisingly by this photo, it was a Table C. Natalie and Peppy Mint took third place.

Monique Barrett and the sensational, 'Snowy River Ginger Meggs' in classical and typical style over this over during the Junior Table C. The former multi Champion Junior Girl Jumping Rider, took second place.

Almost jumping out of the picture, Samara Johnson and 'Single Minded' never the less came to earth long enough to take fourth place in the Junior Table C first up this morning.

Olivia Hamood from Queensland jumped a beautifully ridden and timed round aboard the veteran, 'Bucks Bunny' to win the Junior Table C by a handy eight seconds Olivia's mother, Paula is jumping in Section 1.

Shelby Naughton from Queensland was declared National Champion Junior Judge this morning , with Victorian Lachlan Sim just missed a hat trick. Lachlan, Champion for the previous two years had to settle for Reserve Champion National Junior Judge in 2009. The judges are pictured with L-R RAS Section Steward, Duncan McIntyre and Australian Stock Horse Society CEO, Catherine Newman.

Robyn Anderson drove her 'Reigate Revelation' (Reigate Time Traveller/Nnadene Fedelity) to third place in the class for Lady's Hackney Pony.

Clint Beresford is pictured making a stylish jump riding his 'Belcam Atlantic' in the first Young Rider class this morning. There are four classes for the Young Riders at the Royal this year.

Jackie Long had a super show with her typey, 'Heza Star' (Heza Bruce/J Star Classic), winning both the ASH Hack NE 15hh Ridden in a Snaffle and Ridden in a Curb Bit. Heza Star went on to be declared Reserve ASH Hack.

Paul Waddell proved that his and wife Julie's stallion, 'Knight's Jugaby' (Warrenbri Romeo/Kasavina) is more than just a pretty face. The beautifully moving and athletic horse was second in the Ridden ASH Stallion/Colt class.

Emily Blinkworth and her super, 'CP Argentina' show the form that saw them win the exciting Young Rider class today.

Caitlin Bolger from Western Australia looks super with her 'Byron' during the first round of the Young Rider class today. They jumped clear, but fell foul of the clock, for the addition of just one time penalty.

Danielle Butcher rode the Twins Performance Horse's 'Eliza Jane' to take fifth place in the very competitive Young Rider class today.

Robert Duddy drove his and Edwina Duddy's eye-catching,and well named 'Dunolly Vivid' (Dunolly Nureyev/Dunolly Vision) to third place in the class for Hackney Harness Horse 14-15hh.

Stacey McIntosh rode her 'Frosty Bo' (Regal Rivoli/Ivanho Bo) to second place in the strong class for the Ridden Australian Stock Horse Gelding.

Miranda O'Brien backed up a super Canberra Show by winning the class for Australian Stock Horse Stallion/Colt/Mare/Filly/Gelding 15hh and over ridden in a curb bit and third place in the class for ASH Hack, Mare/Gelding to be ridden by a rider 18 years and under,. riding the Berragoon ASH Stud's 'Berragoon Venus' (Stonebrook Finno/Berragoon Peppercorn).

Samantha Davidge from Temora in NSW rode the Davidge Family's colt, 'Jindalee Casanova' (Betterview Gunfire/Rosebrook Cillawood) to win the class for Ridden ASH Gelding/Colt/Filly under 4 Years.

Jody Rozynski from Granite Rock in Victoria is pictured with her own and Graeme Rozynski's well performed filly, 'Roxby Park Kambala' (Mallanganee Sampson/Roxby Park Funny Face). The typey filly was second yesterday in the strong class for 3 year old Australian Stock Horse Fillies.

Maryanne Howell is pictured with the Moore and Howell nomination, 'Joemoore Thunderstrike' (Avonlea Rolling Thunder/Joemoor Polly's Sugercain) that was declared Champion Miniature Pony Stallion/Colt.

Bianca Sault is on the run with her Champion Miniature Pony Mare and Supreme Miniature Pony Exhibit, 'Westside My Girl Lollipop' (Empyrean Rian/Bal-Bow Priscilla-Lee).

On her first visit to Sydney Royal, Wendy Schaeffer is having a great show despite leaving super star, Koyuna Sun Set at home. Wendy is pictured riding her 'Koyuna Sun Shine' that took second place in the Section 3 jump off class today.

Andrew Inglis had a good Section 3 class today. He won the class riding the imported mare, 'Amira' and took fourth place with his and C Spence's impressive grey (pictured) 'Von Udex'.

Karen Nicoll has had a sensational show with the Transmere P/L and Kay Bryan's typey, 'Springvale Blueprint' (Creswood Rivoli All Talk/Glenrae Minyette). Yesterday Blueprint won the Led 15hh and Over Gelding class and today won the Ridden Gelding class and the class for Australian Stock Horse Hack Stallion/Mare/gelding Over 15hh Ridden in a Snaffle. The successful combination went on to be declared Champion Australian Stock Horse Hack. This combination also won this award in 2007.

Wawrick Lawrence was all dash yesterday in the World Championship Campdraft. He proved just as able in the show ring today, winning the Australian Stock Horse Hack Mare/Filly class with R G Miles, his own and wife Fiona's 'Cedar Downs Minimax' by yesterday's Campdraft winner, Conductor out of Terlings Alpine II.

Michelle McGilvery's 'Kerama Spy Trouble' (Kerama James Bond/Doolkoora Shona) shown by Susan Allfrey was declared Best Miniature Pony Exhibit.

Deborah Eather drove her own charming 'Colina Park Golden Boy' (Clanline Hideandseek/Clanline Jemima) to win the class for Miniature Pony Stallion/Mare/Gelding In Harness.

Kerry Barlow drove the Riverlodge Stud's delightful and successful 'Nagero Grasshopper' (Rose-Air Reflector/Owendale Gale) to win the class for Non Hackney Ponies 12-13hh.

Steve Lord drove Valerie Dewsbury's 'Moogully Farm BR Tim' by Moogully Farm Junior to take fifth place in the class for Miniature Pony Stallion/Mare/Gelding in Harness.

Jamie Winning jumped two super clear rounds to win the Section 1 jump off class today riding her own and her mother Kerrie Winning's imported Alcatraz gelding, 'Yandoo Vangelo'.

Hilary Scott is pictured during the Section 1 class today with her mother, Alice Cameron's wonderful imported mare by Pro Ratio, 'Oaks Pro Ratina'. Hilary is trying to manage a jumping career with Commerce studies at University.
