A busy Mark Kenzig rode his own and J & S Adams' 'Springfield Seattle' to take second place in the class for Novice Galloway 14-14.2hh.

Laura Berben rode the Hughes and Berben nomination, 'Denhue Sugar and Spice' to win the class for Novice Galloway 14-14.2hh first thing this morning.

Rebakah Bennett made an elegant picture with Anne Charlesworth's good working, 'Wynara Lyric' that took fifth place in the class for Novice Galloway 14-14.2hh.

Successful showrider, Stuart Lavelle from Temora in NSW won the Mount, Rider and Equipment class for Boy Riders 15 and under 17 Years riding his hack, 'Linman'.

Troy Wilson was third in the Mount, Rider and Equipment class for Boy Riders 15-17 Years.

Pam Bush from Brandy Hill in NSW took out the Novice 14.2-15hh Galloway class and went on to claim the Best Novice Galloway award with her 'Nottingham Fine Print' (Rothwell Toy Town/Beaufort Liara).

Well known and successful showing identity, Shelly Penny from Traralgon in Victoria took second place in the class for Novice Galloway 14.2-15hh with her 'Jon Pierre'.

Greg Mickan rode Jan Langley's, 'Langtree Catchphrase' by Fairley Temptation imp to take fifth place in the class for Novice Galloway 14.2-15hh.

Kylie Raymont from Queensland is pictured during the workout for Novice Galloway 14.2-15hh. They worked well, but were just out of the ribbons.

Taelar Williams from Cooma in NSW was fourth in the Mount, Rider and Equipment class for Girls 15-17 Years.

Jenna Mass took second place in the Mount. Rider and Equipment class for Girls 15-17 Years.

John Stiphout is on the move with Helen Dohan and Nicolette Jones-Ryan's 'Bamborough Paramount' (Eyarth Tigre imp/Imperial Picture Me) that was declared Champion Australian Saddle Pony Stallion/Colt.

Pat Lenihan and Jo Uppington's, 'Rose-Air Britney' (Owendale Givoni/Langfield Madonna) was declared Champion Mare/Filly and went on to claim the Supreme Led Australian Saddle Pony award.

Rose McEvoy from Strathmore in Victoria had a great day. First up Rose won the Mount, Rider and Equipment class for Girls 15-17 Years and later in the day won the Child's Hack class with her own and Margot Haynes' 'Grazier'.

Taryn Roberts from Tingalpa in Queensland was fourth in the Mount, Rider and Equipment class for Girls 12-15 Years.

The McEvoy girls from Victoria had a good day in the main arena today. Lily McEvoy was not to be out done by her sister, Rose, winning the Mount, Rider and Equipment class for Girls 12-15 Years. Lily does look to be taking the competition very seriously.

Francene Treneman rode the Treneman Family's Barathea gelding, 'Oakridge Centennial' to third place the class for Novice Show Hunter Over 15hh.

Lisa Ford rode the Ford and Clatworthy nomination, 'Harmony Hill Dream On' by Arundel House Amaani to be just out of the ribbons in the class for Open Show Hunter 15-15.2hh.

Sallie Slater from Bega rode her 'Talarook Country Lane' to take second place in the class for Show Hunter 15-15.2hh.

Lara Haynes from Mandalong in NSW rode her wonderful 'Good Karma' to fourth place in the class for Show Hunter 15-15.2hh.

Martin Guenther from the ACT rode his and wife, Toni's 'Madison King' to win the class for Show Hunter 15-15.2hh.

Tahlia Bird from Sunday Creek in Victoria won the Mount, Rider and Equipment class for Girls 9 - 12 Years.

Java Jocobson from Terrigal in NSW rode her 'Redland's Outrageous' to third place in the tough Mount, Rider and Equipment class for Girls 9-12 Years.

Mark Tarrant rode "Alfie Langer", the nomination of Nelson, Moroney & Schultz's to win the Gentleman's Show Hunter Hack and place second in the Show Hunter over 15.2 and n.e. 16hh.

Renae Fowler from Wolulma in NSW rode her 'Shine For You' to sixth place in the class for Show Hunter 15.2-16hh.

Georgia Coffey from Wyong in NSW took fourth place in the Mount, Rider and Equipment class for Girls 9-12 Years.

Maddison Howe from Horsley in NSW rode her 'River Plate' to win the class for Show Hunter 15.2-16hh.

Charlotte Hunt rode her own and husband, Andrew's wonderful Thoroughbred (yes Thoroughbred) 'Gryffindor' By Yeats and the subject of a recent Off The Track story, to take second place in the class for Show Hunters Over 16hh and claim the Show Hunter Hack Reserve Championship as last year.

Laith Doran from Chifley in the ACT won the Novice Show Hunter and the Show Hunter Over 16hh with his impressive Thoroughbred by Portland Player. 'Portland Edition'. The Sydney Royal newcomer went all the way to claim the Over 15hh Show Hunter Championship.

Shelly Penny had a good day and is pictured with her successful Show Hunter, 'SP Havana' that won the Lady's Show Hunter class this afternoon.

Mark Kenzig has every reason to smile. Mark is having a pretty good show and this afternoon took out the Best Thoroughbred award with his own and Neil Carpenter's 'Grandeur' (Bluebird/Dollface). Pictured L-R, judge, Di White, Mark Kenzig and RAS Councillor and Horse Committee member, Bill Picken holding the Widden Perpetual Trophy. Sadly the lack of support from the racing industry has reduced the Thoroughbred judging from an absolute highlight of Sydney Royal to just a few classes.

Late this afternoon, Dale Plumb took out the Gentleman's Hack class with a super workout riding, 'DP Mayfair'.
