Well known and successful visitor from Victoria, Briony Payne rode Cherrie Uchtman's 'Sanlirra Prediction' to win the Novice class for Ponies 13.2-14hh.

A grown up looking, Katelyn Stansfield rode her own and Stansfield Park's 'Newington Picadilly' to third place in the class for Novice Ponies 13.2-14hh.

Diane Tunnacliff from Tamworth in NSW rode her own 'HD Albany' to win the class for Novice Ponies 13-13.2hh.

Lily McEvoy rode Ashley Reid's charming Welsh Pony, 'Weston Park Cointreau' by Eyarth Sama (UK) to take fourth place in the class for Novice Ponies 13-13.2hh.

Courtney Herd rode the De Leeuw, Withers and Richardson nomination, 'Hibrie Symphony' to second place in the class for Novice Ponies 12.2-13hh.

Billie McEvoy rode the McEvoy Family's (from Jamberoo in NSW) 'Rathowen Paladin' to fifth place in the class for Novice Ponies 12.2-13hh.

Diana Lambert took the ride on Joh Bailey's, 'Kamilaroi Kismet' (Kirreway Windsong/Rathowen Patch 'O Blue) to win the Novice Pony 12-12hh class and go all the way to claim the Best Novice Pony Award.

Bridget Chalmers rode Natasha Hall and Melissa Scott's 'Kolbeach Garland' to second place in the class for Novice Ponies 12-12.2hh.

Charles Foster won the class for Gentleman Riders 17-21 Years.

It was wonderful to see Clint Bilson in the showring again. He has been back in the saddle just a week following a serious riding accident. Clint riding 'Tudor Park Alaska' was second in the class for Gentleman Riders 21-40 Years.

Callie James took out the ANSA Champion Stallion and Supreme ANSA Awards with her eye catching, ' Dreamtime Valentino' (Gumbanero/Arneesha).

Brooke Higgins rode the Higgins and Frazer Families' typey mare, rather unusually called 'Glencoe Private Benjamin' to win the class for Novice Hacks 15.2-16hh. A kind reader has emailed to tell us that the horse is named after the film of the same name starring Goldie Hawn as Private Benjamin.

Popular and successful Victorian rider, Rachel Wessel rode her 'LP Suspense' to fourth place in the class for Novice Hacks 15.2-16hh.

Katie O'Neil rode the O' Neil Family and the 'Bamborough Pony Stud's 'Bamborough Special Girl' to win the class for Novice Ponies 11.2-12hh.

Taylah Arnott rode Emily and Holly Murray's 'Dunelm Peek-a Boo' to win the class for Novice Ponies NE11.2hh.

Pam Bush rode Gary Alcorn's good moving, 'Nottingham Forever Yours' to win the class for Novice Ponies 12.2-13hh.

Well known South Australian rider, Samantha Kennedy rode her 'Famous' to win the class for Novice Hacks Over 16.2hh.

A beautifully presented Rebecca Farrow from Victoria rode her 'Stage Lyric' to take third place in the class for Novice Hacks Over 16.2hh.

Matthew Bourke rode his 'Big 'N Rich' to take second place in the class for Novice Hacks Over 16.2hh.

KG & JJ Brown took out the Champion Mare and Supreme Champion Shetland Exhibit with their Brood Mare, 'Cranellie India' (Redacres Ernest/Mulwaree Ingrid). The mare is pictured with R-L judge, Valmai Hunt and exhibitor, Janet Brown.

Shelly Penny has had great success over the years in the show ring and took sixth place in the Novice Hack 16-16.2hh with her promising 'SP Jakata'.

Adam Oliver rode Pam Ahern, Warren Coyle and Howard Morris' 'Surely' to take second place in the class for Novice Hacks 16-16.2hh.

Greg Mickan rode his own and Terry van Heythuysen's lovely, 'SLM Berlin' to win the class for Novice Hacks 16-16.2hh.

Mark Kenzig had a good day at the office today. He was declared Champion Gentleman Rider and later in the day went on to win the Novice 15-15.2hh Hack class and from there to Best Novice Hack with his own and Belinda Scanlon's lovely 'Alkyra Elegance'. The mare is certainly "bred in the purple" for the showring as she is by Supreme Thoroughbred, Flamboyant out of the successful mare, Independence.

Georgina Wadsworth rode her 'Solitary Man' to second place in the class for Novice Hacks 15-15.2hh.

Sarah Young rode her lovely "pony that grew", Dunelm Royal Obsession' to third place in the class for Novice Hacks 15-15.2hh. Royal Obsession . bred by Marcia Adams' Dunelm Stud is by Owendale Salute (by Keston Royal Occasion) out of a Thoroughbred mare.

Samantha Weir rode Peter and Marylou McKeon's beautiful Shire mare, 'Ballafayle Sonata' (Knutsford Commander/Ballafayle Melody) to win the Led Shire Mare Four Years and Over and the Ridden Shire class.
