Melise Tuma-Webb was sixth in a very competitive ASHLA (Australian Stock Horse Ladies Association) class first thing this morning riding her successful stallion, 'Win-D Fortitude' (Palmers Fort Abdul/Jalna Jet).

Jan Young drove her own and husband Lex's 'Fernshaw Penny Lane' by Merrindale Beswick to win the class for Lady's Non Hackney Pony 12-14hh.

Miranda O'Brien is following closely in her mother Kyra's footsteps, so much so that at just 15 (almost) she won the ASHLA class this morning riding the Berragoon ASH Stud's 'Berragoon Venus' (Stonebrook Finno/Berragoon Peppercorn).

Craig Matthews from Bega jumped a good round this morning in the Young Rider Table C for second place riding his, 'Rupert's Little Brother'.

Sarah Meale is putting together some good rounds in the Young Rider Section with her, 'Noblewood Park Cassini's Girl' formerly ridden by Vicki Roycroft.

Karen Nicoll is having a blinder of a show with Transmere P/L and Kay Bryan's 'Springvale Blueprint' (Cresswood Rivoli All Talk/Glenrae Minyette). On the first day of the show the handsome grey was declare Best ASH Gelding, yesterday , Champion ASH Hack and today the well turned out combination won the James Angus Memorial Perpetual Trophy for the Stockman's Turnout class.

Craig Young rode his own and Jenelle Young's 'Cedervale Rafiki' (Congi Rio/TamarlemTangles) to take second place in the Working Australian Stock Horse Stallion class.

Colin Parkinson rode Terry Blake's well performed and typey (2nd Led Stallion class) 'Booerie Creek Flying Star' (Star Black Minstril/Homeview Flight) to win the Working ASH Stallion class.

Joanne Dorman drove her own and husband (passenger) Darren Dorman's 'Woodhurst Actress' (Hurstwood Noble Boy/Rhyl Impress) to win the class for Hackney Buggy Pony NE 14hh.

Paul Vary is pictured with his beautiful and athletic, 'Riverview Snowman' (Better View Gunfire/Riverview Topsey) during the Working Australian Stock Horse Stallion class.

Maddie Watchirs rode Robert Watchirs' 'Watchirs Star' (Lindsay/Shinook Chess) to take third place in the class for Working Australian Stock Horse Stallion.

Bryson Bensley drove the Bensley family's charming, Welsh Cob, 'Pen-nant High Flyer (Durrant Gentleman Jack/Rivington Heir Loom) to claim the Non Hackney Harness Stallion Championship.

Brittany Jones rode Mrs M Shea and Family's 'Noggarula Ribbons' (Kirkby's Major/Row Rica) to take fourth place in the strong class of Working Australian Stock Horse Mares.

Queensland rider, Brett Warren is pictured with his own and the Cullen Family's imported Belgian mare, 'Cheezy Z' during the Section 2 jump off class this afternoon.

Wendy Schaeffer is certainly making the most of her first trip to Sydney Royal. Wendy has been placed in every class she has been in and was third today after a thrilling jump off in the Section 2 class riding her 'Koyuna Sun Storm'.

John Stiphout rode the Fernbrook Stud's 'Lone Pine McKenzie' (Welsdale Acres of Coal/Lone Pine Glory) to second place in the class for Working Australian Stock Horse Geldings.

Victorian, David Nash put on a splendid performance with his five year old, 'Waymere Oaks Agent' (Oaks Ebony/Abby Mingo) to take fourth place in the class for Working Australian Stock Horse Gelding

Last to go in the Section 2 jump off, Jenny Sheppard stepped the imported, 'Licara R' up a notch. Andrew Inglis and Paul Kelly's mare was last to go and Jenny shaved just over three seconds off the next fastest time for back to back victories. The five way section 2 jump off was thrilling showjumping and jumping fans certainly got their money's worth this afternoon.

When Amanda Madigan flew around the Section 2 jump off aboard the Diamond B and ASB nomination, 'TP Gifted', many thought them the winners. They jumped a super round, but in the end Amanda had to settle for second place.

Young Matt Turner rode the Lone Pine Stud's, 'Lone Pine Cedar' (Lone Pine Viper/Lone Pine Glory) to win the Working Australian Stock Horse Gelding class and take second place in the Working class for riders Under 18 Years.

Bradley Porter from Victoria rode his beautiful Talisman Fiddler colt, 'Struan Park Just Looking' , out of Jannali Just Looking, to fourth place in the Working Stock Horse Colt/Filly/Gelding Under Four Years.

Susan Hayden is pictured putting the Myee Stud's colt, 'Myee Royal Major' (Kirkby's Major/ Comara Daylight) through his paces.. The winner of the Three Year Old Led Colt class took fifth place in the Working Colt/Filly/Gelding Under Four Years.

Samantha Davidge is pictured with her colt, 'Jindalee Casanova' (Berragoon Quandong/Rosebrook Cillawood) during the Working Colt/Filly/Gelding class. Earlier in the day Samantha rode Casanova's full older sister, 'Jindalee Matisse' to take second place in the ASHLA class. Samantha was not sashed second at the time but an error was picked up and the placings were altered later in the day.

Stacey Robinson and her 'Stoneridge Delta' (Petit Abre Bronze Prince/Koonawarra Gold Dice) look both to be really on the job during the Working Stock Horse Colt/Filly/Gelding class. Their work was rewarded by second place.

Warwick Lawrence has had a great show with the well performed,'Cedar Downs Minimax'.(Conductor/Terlings Alpine II). The five year old mare shown by RG Miles and Warwick and Fiona Lawrence, won the 2008 National Maturity and today won the Working Stock Horse Mare class and went on to claim the David Archibald Memorial Perpetuall Trophy for Champion Australian Stock Horse.

Davis Wilson rode his wife Sue and the Glen Lee ASH Stud's 'Glen Lee Aria' (Barona Hornet/Moss' Jazz) to second place in the Working Stock Horse Mare class. They came in for and claimed the Reserve Champion Stock Horse Championship.
